instinctively, he moves closer to her, watching as the pink mist starts to flow into the room and around them. it swirls and swirls and it's almost too easy to get caught up in it.

without her hand holding onto him, tethering him to her, he's free to step into the mist, and it's there that he sees someone he doesn't recognize, at least not at first.

but this isn't his vision.

he turns, watching the brief interaction before realizing.

it pains him to see tears. wanting to help, he reaches out for her arm once again.

the one she had lost, presumably someone before she moved back to hoenn. he hasn't asked her about it because he doesn't want to push, but seeing it play out in front of him now tells him that maybe he should've asked.

it's clear he meant a lot to her.

but he also knows that this isn't real.

so he follows after her, reaching out for her arm to stop her.

She’s forced to look at Uri, and for a moment, she wants to break away. To tell him to move. To push him away.

It’s been so long since the last time she saw Magnus that sometimes Sol fears she’ll forget him, and now he’s here, so how couldn’t she want to see her brother? Even if he’s no more than an illusion. Even if he’s not real.

Looking at him, her hands are raised to rest on his, but instead of making him let go, she simply stays right where she is.

It’s quiet, and there’s nothing overly emotional about it, but tears run down her cheeks.

Not since she was a kid. Not even when Magnus went missing, because just as Sol has always been told: crying is weakness.
