uri nods more enthusiastically than he maybe should've. but who can blame him? it's one of his favorite movies, hands down.

"best christmas movie ever. no competition."

a couple of minutes pass before the frittata's brought over to the table. he looks at it in awe.

chuckling, he slides out a piece and places it onto her plate, then does the same for himself.

The frittata holds its shape perfectly when cut, some of the ingredients peeking their colours through the egg base. Bacon, onions, mushroom, spinach, moomoo cheese… Some of her favourites, and which definitely go together well when cooked like this. In her opinion, at least.

Cooking for others has always been something she enjoys, even if she doesn’t get to do it often.

In her opinion, he probably could. Sol likes cooking, but when it comes to it, she’s more of the type to just follow every step in a recipe she found than to try something new. She’ll always prefer baking over it, but it’s still fun, and a frittata is something she can do easily.

Despite her words, no ketchup is offered and she definitely doesn’t get up to go grab the bottle for him, because as much as Uri loves ketchup, this frittata is meant to be enjoyed just like this.

She’s too used to silence, so she doesn’t notice it at first, only looking at him again after a few long minutes.

a few long minutes of silence isn't that bad nor is it particularly odd, but in uri's case, it's definitely alarming. maybe that's why sol picks up on it. is she asking because she genuinely cares? yes, probably, but why does she care?
