after a chuckle, he's glad things are no longer tense between them.

and yeah, they probably should have that conversation. maybe they will later today after he's slept. or maybe they'll do it before he sleeps. who knows.

what he does know, however, is that they're soon approaching her house.

This is no surprise, since knowing she would be out the whole night, only a single one had been left out of his pokéball to keep watch. He sits there: on the couch, an impressive Houndoom of sharp horns and even sharper fangs and claws. His scarlet eyes stare at Uri the moment he enters the house, but a tail is wagged when hearing Sol’s words:

A bark in response.

Sol turns to look at Uri once more.

”There’s a spare bedroom upstairs, you should go get some rest.”

maybe one day logi will wag his tail when he sees uri, but today is not that day. he offers the houndoom nothing more than a smile, at least until after sol greets him.

"hi, logi."

and with a nod, he accepts, feeling exhausted as he makes his way up the stairs. he probably should've asked where the room is specifically, but he finds it eventually.

he stumbles in, falls to the bed, and passes out.

When Sol had suggested Uri should stay at her place, she had expected him to sleep for a few hours and then go home in the evening after dinner or something. It’s what would have made sense, because normal people don’t sleep for almost twenty-four hours straight.

Maybe he was just that tired. Maybe the stress of the conversation added to this.

Either way, the next morning, Sol prepares breakfast at her kitchen; bacon sizzling in a skillet while she prepares other ingredients.

Invitingly, the scent of it rises in the air.

leave it to bacon to be the deciding factor in rousing uri out of his deep slumber. he blinks, groaning as he shifts off the bed. it looks exactly the same as it did when he first went to bed, so for a moment, he's a little confused.

but he makes his way out the room and down the stairs, following the scent of bacon.

"good...morning? afternoon?"

he's not sure, really, but he approaches with a bare smile.

"how long was i out for?"

He missed lunch, he missed dinner, but throw some bacon in a pan and he’s up in a few minutes.

Maybe it’s just that he’s not tired anymore, but it’s still kind of hilarious to think about.

It even makes Sol smile ever so faintly, turning to look at the watch at her wrist before answering his question:

No, Uri definitely has more of a dog personality, but the sleeping sure is cat-like. Maybe that’s why he likes feline pokémon so much. Does he nap with them at home? Probably.

it's just so comfortable to nap with cats. they're so fluffy and warm and cuddly and affectionate and just perfect. damn, he misses it now. maybe he'll have to nap when he gets home later.

In Uri’s defense, Sol usually sleeps with some of her dogs when at home, particularly on the rare occasion when she does take a nap. There’s nothing quite like cuddling into the warm and soft fur of an Arcanine while taking a nap.

Sol moves on to prepare coffee for them, which really doesn’t take long at all considering she’ll mostly just be pouring it from the already warm coffee pot.

She walks over to the fridge to get some milk for hers, and when the question is asked, there’s no more than a shrug.

”Uhmm… Cleaned, cooked, went for a run, did some training with my pokémon, watched a movie, and slept. It was a long day, I keep busy.”
