The more he spent time with Alexei Ivanov, the more he hated leaving him for longer periods of time. Even though he wasn't confined to Fortree, Mattis couldn't help but worry about his friend.

He was injured, right? That was it.

He tried to ignore it, walking with Arkose by his side. At least seeing the sea again was nice. "It's a nice day, isn't it?" he said, looking at the Lycanroc.

The wolf pokemon seemed to notice his discomfort, giving him a nudge. "I'm fine. It's fine. Let's go."
