With a teddiursa clinging to her side and a mareep springing gleefully around her feet -- never where she would prefer it and almost always right where she was trying to step, Bo felt like a proper mom. She shifted the bear pokemon on her hip as they ventured back into the Safari zone. The two newest additions to her team brought their own challenges.

She never really seemed to gauge any Pokemon's personalities before adding them to the team and she found herself wondering if most trainers did. It hadn't really occurred to her before. Pokemon husbandry hadn't really been their thing back home. All the pokemon on the farm had strong personalities and they all just learned to exist with each other.

Either way, she was planning to bond with these two over

Bo struggled through the park. She paused periodically to shift the teddiursa higher onto her hip and shoo the mareep from under feet. It made for slow going but the trio eventually spotted their first pokemon - a little clefairy waddling a short ways away. Shed seen a few of those pokemon around here and there but, unfortunately (or fortunately depending how you look at it), it was not one Bit had any interest in.

They watched the pokemon waddle off as they continued further into the Safari. Maybe Bo would make it to one of the more interesting zones in the safari this time round.

Another pause, as she heard the bushes rustle besides them. The trio listened -- or, rather, Bo listened and peered eagerly in the direction she thought the rustling was coming from. The teddiursa squirmed uncomfortably on her hip and the mareep investigated a nearby patch of grass. Two large, orange eyes finally glinted behind the shrubs and the soft call of a hoothoot told Bo that this was, again, not what she was hoping for. She whistled for the mareep and they continued on.

Her head snapped up as she heard the distinct call of a mareep. Her own mareep stopped too. Both listened and carefully creeped forward. The Teddiursa squirmed against Bo, unaware that anyone's attention was one anything specific. Bo knelt down slowly, set the pokemon in the grass , and stole towards the bushes. She gently nudged her mareep out of the way as she rounded the bush to see the wild mareep. Bingo. She chucked a pokeball a the unsuspecting pokemon.

Bo celebrated her success with a big, toothy grin. She crossed over to the pokeball, her mareep prancing happily along side her.

Her attention gravitated towards the little teddiursa that was rounding the bushes. She started to greet the little bear pokemon but her attention was drawn to a second bear pokemon. The two bumbled around the clearing, paw-in-paw. Bo watched as her teddiursa showed the new one around -- introducing the new Pokemon to Bo's mareep before toddling over to Bo. The pair looked up with pleading eyes. Bo's head quirked to the side "well, hey there little guy." she looked between the two "you.. want to join us?"
