"Hmm, I guess it worked out in our favor, then. Or maybe my own in particular. I did get the rest of the night off..."

Even if her girls would be jealous of her leaving early, all she ever did was work. She deserved time like this, right?

"My bed is small, but it should fit both of us..."

Jessie lets out a small noise when he picked her up from the couch, curling her arms and legs around him for support. She let him carry her to her room, giving some sort of signal to her Pokemon to sleep out in the living room tonight.

They'd be fine by the fire.

"Just a little. But I'm used to staying up late."

She reached for her door, pushing it open. Her room is rather simple except for a few cute decorations that screamed "Jessie."

"It's sort of in the job, you know."

Jessie couldn't help but laugh. She propped herself up over him, looking over the bed while her hands rested over her chest.

"It's not my fault you're so big."

She tilted her head, raising her eyebrows.

"I think it'll be fine. All the more means for you to keep me close, right?"

Does he mean that? Or is he just saying that to her? Jessie would allow herself to live in an unknowing bliss for now, allowing him to pull her down and be kissed.

She only untangled herself from him to remove her sweatpants and sweatshirt as not to overheat in his embrace. Not to mention she often slept in a t-shirt like this.

"I hope this isn't too distracting," she said, feigning innocence like she didn't know what she was doing.

Jessie chuckled, only shifting to allow him to take off his shirt. Her hand rested on his abdomen, tracing his muscles.

"Then allow me to be more distracting before we sleep, hmm?"

With that, she allowed her hand to trail lower, pressing a kiss to his lips.
