...That was a more comforting sight to behold.[break][break]
Upon noting the broadened smile upon her lips following how it diminished so quickly beforehand, he found himself returning the expression equally; the corners of his lips tugging upwards, as well, in some form of amusement and relief, alike. Shifting his gaze towards the side for a bit as the bartender turned to take the payment, he allowed his attention to linger only long enough to meet eyes with him after he’d read the note designed for him; peering back towards the woman beside him once he’d received a nod of acknowledgment (for both the request to ensure the woman's safety in departure, as well as an extra fee on top of the service to account for doing so). The remaining note that he’d written still remained outstretched to her, even as she took his words into account and responded.[break][break]
He chuckled softly and warmly, reaching out to take her hand before slipping the note into her palm and closing her fingers, gently, around it.[break][break]
”Mhm. You heard me right~,” he hummed, still maintaining some form of a smile as he eyed her. With the paper he’d written upon passed into her hands (a nameless match to otherwise valid numbers), he gazed at her with an idle thoughtfulness while retreating back a faint amount, just enough to lean his back against the rest of the chair that he sat upon as the full moon shone its light through the windows some further ways away.[break][break]
He crossed his legs and leaned an arm upon the wood of the aforementioned rest behind him.[break][break]
”So, Miss Daphne... Tell me a bit more about yourself~.”
