With the results he'd gotten so far, it was safe to say the unown hunt wasn't yielding results he found satisfactory.

With no more incense he stood along the Jagged Pass, arms crossed.

The itching obsession that began with being given that device.

With kids on the way it felt wrong to be suddenly frivolous, but this felt like a circumstance in which being over-invested and wrong a lesser evil than letting opportunity go un-chased.

This mystery was a door, and he was the one who would knock.

He wasn't the lamb on this venture, although it was a hunger for answers, that hunger alone made him the wolf.

At the sight of a drowzee raising its arms to do its freaky psychic dream freaking, Sénon raised his arms to make himself look larger and rushed it.

The drowzee ran off, not ready for such aggressive confrontation.

Go figure. "Next." It was probably the riolu backup she was running from. A drowzee was close, the same type as what he hunted.

Yet, only unown could be the lamb this time around.

"Not you either." He said to a meditite walking on in the clearing, looking for a fight it seemed but not looking to be out-numbered.

For a second Jūken perked up, also hoping for a fight.

Sénon's body language held the riolu back however. Their target was still not among them.

His wrestling with obsession aside, he put away the doubts he had each time he lit an incense or opened the report to update himself on the words.

He fancied himself the hunter, all of them did.

There was a chance this was all some hoax or ploy and the unown were the wolf or part of the pack. He had to ignore it.

For the sake of answers and discovery he had to ignore the possibility that people of Hoenn trying to solve the unown report, were themselves simply lambs for the slaughter.

A claydol appeared and the blue glow in its eyes told him his mind was being read.

An instant later, the psychic-type was glowing that old haunting blaring white.

"Not again." He recalled Jūken as fast as he could while sprinting away.

When it seemed like the explosion of a self-destruct was immanent he dived behind a boulder jutting from the ground.

When the smoke and dust cleared, he tagged the Claydol with a smirk. Along with his Baltoy, this one made three.

It wasn't a unown, but he his own personal research project this psychic/ground type would be critical to.
