Malamar were a constant reminder of how aesthetics could totally undermine a pokémon popularity.

Compared to an Inkay it was just horrible and off-putting and it couldn't tell him squat about the trouble with the unown report or lack-thereof.

Actually, thinking about it, tonight would be a perfect night to lay down some furs and throw a few logs on the fireplace. It felt like it had been a moon or so since they last time they burned the midnight oil and simply talked to each other.

She'd probably be asleep by the time he got back.

Tossing away the burning stubble of a leaf roll it would smolder on the ground for only a second or two the passing winds extinguished it.

There was still some incense left to burn, he wasn't really to call it quits yet so the next psychic-type to pass by was also ignored in full.

He nearly said prayers to get the result he wanted, but he was too stubborn and prideful to ask help from absent and inattentive gods.

Almost. A starmie was a terrible consolation prize.

He barely paid the encounter more than a quarter of his brain's processing power.

Starmie was fodder for any electric type, particularly a bug, ghost or dark, electric type.

He didn't have Galvantula with him, Togedemaru would have to close the gaps, as well he could. After MAGNET RISE it became a sky battle but between ZING ZAP and his natural IRON BARBS, the roly-poly pokémon found his victory quick fast and in a hurry.

Likewise now that the incense was burned out he had a fire to make, with any luck Cait was still awake and making some hot cocoa.
