A futile attempt at finishing the bingo and getting kanto mons at the same time

Jogging up Mt. Chimney had looked like a good idea. Not so much now. As things were now, the path was beginning to look how his grandpa's journey to school had sounded like, all those years ago.

"I'm... going... to die...!" Grunted the rosy cheeked youth between huffs and puffs, breathing in deeply as he ran.

The path was severely uphill, the heat of the caldera made regular summer temperatures feel like a Galarian Winter, his water bottle had run out-

And to top it off, a friggin' pokemon had just jumped him!

"DAGNNABIT!"

The young Captain had the general bad luck of running onto a starving Kadabra out on a hunt for a meal.

Pokemon as intelligent as it didn't generally bother with humans- there was too much of a chance the human would prove a superior opponent, given their capacity to store whatever pokemon they desired in a tiny pokeball.

But the hungry man doesn't think, and neither does the Kadabra.

It encroached upon the youth without warning, its telekinetic grip suddenly seizing the young man off his feet with a yelp.

"W- Whoah!" Yelped Doug as he rose in the air, his body suddenly in a rather precarious position along the cliff. "The heck are ya trynna pull?!"

Was it gonna try and drop him before he could get his pokemon out...?!

Well too bad for it. He was (Against all odds) a high profile political figure in a region full of rockets.

A shimmering metal substance slithered out from under the young man's muscle shirt, moving up the length of the boy's arm before transforming into a gun.

The hunter became the hunted.

BANG!

Meltan used Flash Cannon.

Was the heat making him delusional?

Gathered around a table of rocky, flattened rock with a feast of berries laid upon it, dipped within the steaming water of natural hotsprings, a dozen or so Passimians chillaxed without a care in the world.

Doug's brow twitched.

The first bit of water he found for miles, and of course, it had to be hot, dirty, and full of MONKEY FUR.

"Screw it!" Screamed Doug as he sprinted for the springs, alarming several of the monkeys as he leapt in the air and dive bombed into the water.

Doug used Dive-Bomb.
