in hindsight? maybe bringing a lycanroc around a bunch of wooloo wasn't the best idea. wolves and lambs and all that? but it was too late now, because he was far from home and...honestly hadn't really thought of that. it would be okay. probably. hopefully.

It was a shopping day! And Vicki had gotten permission to wander around a bit. She just had to make sure that she came back to the meeting spot with her mom on time and kept Gummi out. The Wurmple was in the hood of her jacket, taking a nap, and Vicki was currently squatted down and petting a Wooloo.

One of them ran by, bleating in distress, which made Vicki stand up and look around. A pokemon was in trouble so she was going to help! The thread was unknown... much like Vicki had never seen an Unown! Prompts!

"Hmm..." But where was the problem?

okay. this was a horrible idea, because the wooloo were terrified of his pokemon. lei thought, now, that they had to be scared of the hunt thing. since his pokemon were usually predators...

About the time that @lei realized it was a bag idea was when Vicki spotted his pokemon- AKA the problem in her eyes.

"Hey!" She called out, hands on her hips, and cheeks puffed out like a Skwovet using it's cheek pouch. "You better leave the Wooloo alone!"

She hadn't noticed they were a Trainer's pokemon yet, thinking they were just wild. Most people would probably be afraid of wolf pokemon but not Vicki!

Had the stars aligned... it was @lei!

Vicki perked back up and jogged over, the blade of her false leg bouncing in the grass as she moved.

"Hi Mister Lei! Are you here getting into trouble?" Vicki glanced down at the wolf pokemon when she was closer, raising a brow.

"You're scaring the poor Wooloo! You better be lucky a big old Dubwool isn't here and trying to headbutt you!"

She said it with a warning tone at first, as if no scolding @lei, but then she laughed and slapped her hands together.

"I don't think your pokemon makes a very good sheep dog, Mister Lei. Can I pet her?" Squatting down, she held out a hand for the pokemon to sniff.

"i think opal wouldn't be the only one running if that were the case." it's meant to be joking, at first. until it's punctuated with a glance over his shoulder to make sure it wasn't the case. getting headbutted by a dubwool really wasn't on his to-do list today.

When Vicki was given permission to pet the Lycanroc, she beamed and held her hand out a bit more. That was Opal could sniff and decide if she liked her. It was only after the canine had been able to sus out her vibes that Vicki actually started to pet her.

"Well, she's not a good sheep dog, but she's really cute!" Vicki laughed as, for the moment, this scene came to a close.
