That was strange. For some reason he began to poke through his phone and saw that there was a notification from Lorelei’s, one of those places he often got pick-up from. What was up? Either way… the sight of a Slowpoke made him stop. He had to stop himself from letting out a bark of laughter, because holy shit he’d spent so much time down by the water with Matias and yet, and yet— There was one here, right now, waddling around without a care in the world! How was he going to pass this up?! Even if this was Mount Pyre after all (a place considered to be the ‘holiest’ of all ‘holy’ places) surely there were some… Berry trees here, right? The god thing about this was that since Slowpoke were naturally, well, slow this wasn’t going to be going anywhere anytime soon. Backing away slowly, he began hunting for a Berry tree (he could swear he saw one somewhere) and then found one not too far away from where they were. Grabbing a handful of Berries he made his way back—and saw that the Slowpoke was still there, ‘sun’ bathing. Or was it ‘fog’ bathing? He then approached it slowly, slowly, very slowly—And began rolling some Berries its way. While he knew that they were going to be here a while, it took almost thirty minutes for the Slowpoke to look up and notice that there was food there; and since when was there a human there too? Idly, the Pokémon began eating on the Berries, before Lars cautiously rolled some more towards the Slowpoke. Looks like they were going to be here the whole day. So be it then. It was late afternoon when he finally decided to approach the Slowpoke, it having gotten used to him around (being the source of Berries and all that). “You… aren’t going to do anything, right?” he began quietly, keeping an eye on the Pokémon. Maybe it was luck after all. More Berries were offered. catch attempt on Slowpoke! (one down, three more to go)@tag
