Now that he was finally mobile again (well, as mobile as possible)…

It was time for him to start searching on his own.

Since most of everyone he knew had gotten into an uproar about those letter-shaped Pokémon—

Why not try his luck out here as well?

There was—there was a reason why he avoided Mount Pyre as much as possible; one of the primary reasons being there were a lot of fucking ghosts there.

Nope!

He’d stay here, on solid non-foggy ground, thank you very much!

The first thing that came across his path was—

Holy shit, he let out a guffaw at the sight.

He remembered catching one of these a long-ass time ago, and gifting it to someone else by request of someone who was looking for this particular Pokémon.

“Nice try, though,” he said, mentally cringing at the ‘kissable lips’ that were waving his way; no hell-ass way did he want to get caught on the wrong side of those lips!

The next Pokémon that he would encounter would be—

“Oh, whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa…” he muttered, backing away slowly at the sight of the pendulum.

He’d heard about the creepy stories about this particular Pokémon, he had to make sure that the Hypno didn’t see him, otherwise he would be in for a bad time.

A very bad time…

Thankfully, the Hypno hadn’t noticed him as he quickly took a different path away from said Psychic-type, keen on putting as much distance between it and himself as possible!

Just like his friend, Alexei had a certain app installed—only this one helped with filling out the ‘Pokédex’ with up-to-date information; seeing as information about any and all Pokémon that existed always changed whenever new evolutions or variant formes were discovered.

However, today it was just a standard, regular, run-of-the-mill Slowbro that was sunning itself on a rock.

Before he could react, a loud, draconic screaming ripped through the skies before a shadow passed overhead and swept down, Thunder Fang ready to take a bite out of the Slowbro.

How slow was this Pokémon, really?!

“Whoa,” he said as he dodged out of the way as his Salamence attacked the dual-type; who’d tried to retaliate with a Tackle, but of course being so slow the draconid got several more attacks in before a beam of red light from a Pokéball thrown by Alexei himself would save the Slowbro from further harm because apparently…

…his Salamence was out for blood!
