with the previously caught pokemon on tow, kyle continues to get lost in the maze of caverns, looking for the carrot farm he had set up with noah.

he swears he has better navigational skills than this, but it can't be helped when his pokemon get distracted easily, and then he ends up getting distracted by them getting distracted because it looked cute.

the mightyena in question now starts walking away from the main corridor, his steps being tiny pitter patters that was just too cute to ignore. kyle takes his phone out and takes a video of it.

kyle finds a palpitoad at the end of the tunnel his mightyena apparently was too eager to go to. he stops walking the cute way and stands still, looking at the weird tadpole frog before turning to kyle.

"yeah, sure. go ahead."

knowing what's coming up, kyle readies a pokeball in order to get a quick stop for the pokemon indulging in its predatory desires. as soon as kyle gives the signal, it bolts at the wild pokemon.

fangs sink into the palpitoad as the dark-type catches it in its unawares. he gets an extra move off since the pokemon is dazed from the ambush, leaving yet another bite mark on its large, weirdly shaped head.

kyle throws a pokeball just so the mightyena won't actually break the pokemon.
