Despite the odd freeze that had overcome Hoenn during the winter, the desert was still warm. Reptilian Pokemon were strewn about, Arboks and Sandacondas slithering about with their lesser evolved counter parts.

The occasional Onix or Steelix would poke its head from the sand before burying itself again.

It would be a peaceful sight, should these creatures not be bordering on too close to Mauville City. It seemed from reports that each day, the snakes would draw closer and closer, perhaps by the aspect of food nearby. And that's why he was here.

Warren wasn't sure if that was the exact cause for their recent decision to move closer, but the people were growing more and more nervous, since some of these creatures had abilities to poison. Sands could equally harm a population as well.

His dark boots seemed to disappear under a layer of sand as he stepped forward, looking around.

"How do you take it we do this peacefully?" he asked Amelia Livy, his Aegislash hovering by his side.

Rose hues colour all too pale cheeks as they make their way further into Hoenn’s desert, and while it would be nice to say that this is due to the presence of the all-too-handsome man walking next to her, the fact of the matter is that it probably has more to do with the area’s merciless heat.

Clad in shorts and with her hair tied up in a ponytail, Lia does her best to focus on the conversation and not the scalding sunlight, eyes the colour of blooming dandelions falling upon @warren when a question is asked.

”Peacefully?” She hadn’t expected an approach like that from a man like him, but perhaps that’s her judgments getting the better of her. After all, they don’t really know each other. ”Yeah, I think that’d be good. We could stun them or put them to sleep, maybe? Relocating them could be an issue, though – Sandaconda are really heavy.”

Warren grunted, perhaps a bit dissatisfied with the answer he got. But, she wasn't wrong.

The Pokemon they were going to deal with were large, especially the SANDACONDAS.

"Perhaps an empty Pokeball could be used for relocation? Unless you're out."

He didn't have many on his person himself. Warren had gone scouting for more Pokemon to add to his team, but that definitely cost many of the items he had at the time. And, he hadn't had time to refresh his stock.

"Perhaps we'll have to bait them instead."
