Memo was so lost in his headphones, gazing up into the sky and not paying one whit of attention, that he didn’t even notice the Nuzleaf appear. Unfortunately for the Nuzleaf, however, Onna did notice it. Her red eyes flashed. Her little paws clawed furrows in the dirt as she turned on a dime, couched her head, and charged the Nuzleaf, gaining speed as she approached.

The unfortunate little Wily Pokemon caught sight of the incoming monochrome projectile and leaped up, fleeing as fast as it’s little legs could carry it.

Memo noticed none of this, too busy patting out a beat on his knees and bobbing his head to the song.

Wigglytuff was the next unfortunate target for Oona’s aggression. She caught a flash of pink out of one eye, whipped round, and charged right at the balloon Pokemon.

Fortunately-- unfortunately, for Oona-- the Wigglytuff came with some extra padding. Oona’s headbutt landed right in its gut, and she sank into its flesh like stretching rubber. Then, with a powerful boing! She popped right back out, flipping head over heels, and rolling backwards through the grass.

Disgruntled, the Wigglytuff scowled at her attacker. She huffed, picked up her chin, and continued on her way. Oona had a brief moment of stillness in the grass as the world righted itself.

And Guillermo was still deaf to it all.

Finally Oona had met her match!

Once she’d picked herself up from her bounce with the Wigglytuff, she targeted the Crawdaunt, who was shuffling through on her way to a nearby water source. Oona launched another headbutt at the crustacean, who simply snagged the irritating raccoon in one pincer. In a moment of mercy-- which she would soon come to regret-- the Crawdaunt wheeled back and baseball pitched Oona, right at Guillermo.

Too late, he saw the motion out of the corner of his eye. His Zigzagoon’s tail bashed him right in the face, knocking him to the ground with an oof. The pair of them rolled around for a bit, Memo touching the bruise surely forming on his face. The Crawdaunt clacked her claws disapprovingly at the pair of them.

“Oona, scary face!” Memo muttered. The Zigzagoon hurled herself off his back and back at the Crawdaunt, eyes flashing red, teeth bared, tongue lolling. It caught the Crawdaunt off guard-- and also slowed it, so when Oona bounded forward with another headbutt, the crab was too slow to stop her. The crown of Oona’s head collided with the blue chevrons on Crawdaunt’s chest, denting the carapace. Crawdaunt cried out in pain, aiming an angry crunch at her pesky attacker.

Oona was too fast. She dodged nimbly out of the way, in and between Crawdaunt’s legs. Sprinting behind her, Oona whirled, and headbutted the crab from behind, knocking her forward, golden star-topped forehead crashing to the ground.

Memo had picked himself up and dusted himself off. He nailed the downed Crawdaunt with a Pokeball and smirked as it sealed itself inside.

Sufficiently tired, Oona sat herself beside her trainer, panting like a happy dog.
