she settles with a smile, extending a hand in his direction over piping hot tea.

"i don't think we've met before," she murmurs. it's obvious, truthfully, but something about the fact is exciting. "i'm illeana, illeana reyes."

behind her, an automaton looms with a vaguely curious presence. it's friendly in its mannerisms, offering a soft rumble and a gentle wave.

"are you here for business or pleasure?" best to get that out of the way now, right?

faintly, she's aware of the prolonged hand holding. and overwhelmingly, she doesn't particularly care to break it. his hands are warm and engulfing enough to distract her.

"cian," she repeats. the smile grows in wattage. "are you looking for anything in particular?"

she flashes an understanding smile.

"i'm in the same boat," she murmurs. and really, it's too comfortable here to leave. there's less expectations, less pain but even so, there's a loneliness that persists.

"undecided at the moment," her head tilts slightly to the left as an eyebrow inches upward. "why, are you interested?"
