the roserade sighs. a shame that they couldn't participate in the carnage just last week. though, if they did, they'd need plenty of counselling. thankfully, it seemed like the vespiquen was starting to recover from her fear. mielle hopes that next time, she'd be better equipped for that kind of mission.

"don't stress over it." the woman smiles to the rose pokemon, raising her head to gently pat the white tuff that blooms on the bud. she pays little mind to the dedenne that skitters along the branches.

the pat doesn't ease the roserade's concerns, but she opts to humour the trainer. and so mielle hums and spends the rest of her time casually strolling down the tree of life, before finally opting to seat herself nearby its large trunk to enjoy the breeze. another pokemon harmlessly scampers about, though mielle does nothing but wave idly to it, and close her eyes once again.

SKIPPING

and as she's kicking back, she catches the view of a servine who harmlessly wanders over to her, sitting by the woman as she relaxes. "oh, hello~" she waves to the serpantine pokemon, who only hums in response. ah, what a cool and collected pokemon. it's a good thing schnee wasn't out to scare it away.

a few moments pass, and she idly eyes the pokemon for a moment. "do you want to come with me?~" she asks. she likes the pokemon's company, and the servine shrugs what looked to be leaf shoulders. the roserade already looks ready to wave his bouquets, because this is a mistake. this is a horrible, horrible mistake. it's too late, of course, and mielle casually taps a pokeball against the forehead of the pokemon. she's glad to have made a friend at the tree that nearly killed her.

the absolute fucking irony is that mielle doesn't even know it evolves into a snake.
