hence when her companion chirps up, her ears twitch slightly before she turns her verdant gaze towards him. a hum escapes her lips as her fingers are brought to her chin, and she tilts her head while her gaze is directed to the ground. "hm.." her thumb taps beneath her chin "maybe aphrodisiacs would work? but maybe we would need something stronger?" [break][break]

her eyes brighten, like she was hit with a wonderful idea "like a love potion! we can give them one of those~" [break][break]

ignoring the fact that they don't have access to one. she'll figure it out as they go.

His face scrunched slightly in some degree of confusement, but all while an equally amused and confused smile tugged upon his lips instinctively. ”I hadn’t been aware that we lived in a fantasy world…” he mused jokingly, closing the door behind them after watching her walk into the facility. ”A love potion would definitely be an interesting concept, though. Frightening, yes, but interesting in its own right~...”[break][break]

Upon entering, he glanced around before quickly making eye contact with one of the employees, offering them a smile and explaining the situation. He nodded at them as they briefly walked off. He figured it was to confirm details.[break][break]

”...Mn. Hopefully this won’t take too long, though…”

perhaps the idea was a little absurd. that doesn't stop her from wanting to entertain it, however. [break][break]

"at the very least, it would help us with this mission~" it would have helped her with a lot more than just the mission, but she'll choose to push those thoughts in the back of her mind, lest she begin entertaining the idea as she side-eyes the salazzle-- [break][break]

they're walking, and suddenly a bright idea lights up the bulb over her head. following him, and tugging his sleeve shortly after the employees leave them to their own devices. "... have i ever told you that i had a salazzle?~"

With a hum, he absentmindedly eyed down the hallways and rooms the employee he’d talk to descended through, though found himself glancing over his shoulder at the tug of his sleeve. For a couple of moments, he eyed the woman talking to him before furrowing his brows and tilting his head, turning her way to attain a better gaze as he noted the specific implication of her words.[break][break]

”...Are you suggesting we use that to our advantage?” he asked, soon raising one of his brows, instead. ”Would that work on Pokemon other than a Salandit…?”

"it would make the job easier, right?" she'd think as much, anyhow. though she doesn't quite understand the nuances nor the technicalities, it should.. in theory, work, shouldn't it? even though she feels a little bit bad about trying to force two pangoro together, it was for the greater good! or, in this case, it's for the sake of this breeding centre. plus.. there was only one way to find out, no? "i think it might work~" the woman's so confident "the worst that will happen is that the pangoro are... poi.. soned." [break][break]

Just as they’d been moments beforehand, his brows remained within their light furrow as he eyed her and took her words into account. Before long, however, he noted the sound of approaching footfalls before he could make a response right then and there, briefly shifting his attention towards the returning employee and another coworker of theirs before nodding and beginning to walk after them as they first said something about bringing them to the enclosure.[break][break]

During the walk, he slipped his hands into his pockets in thought, mulling over the further descriptions he was given as he fell behind the two workers in order to match the woman’s pace again. ”...All the more not to do that, then, no…?” he murmured idly, his tone ripe with inquiry and concern, alike. He glanced towards the door they were led to, giving a grateful nod to the worker that held it open for them as he walked in. ”Poisoning them should be the last thing we want to do…”

she doesn't need dante to tell her that it's best not to do it, but she agrees all the same by rubbing the back of her neck. but then she's stuck lowering her head, slightly, wondering what they could do to at least.. try and sate the pangoro. "maybe we can just.. try to set a mood instead? i can't exactly use my salazzle's poison, but maybe pheromones mixed with roses could work?" her frown soon turns, and she's tenting her fingers as they walk into the room of the two pangoro. [break][break]

"we can set up a date for the two of them to get to know one another~"

It would’ve been an understatement to say that he was a bit confused and skeptical with the scenario they’d been given, but the way he saw it, it was already too late to leave. Admittedly enough, though, he was rather curious to see how this would all turn out. While he may not have been a breeder, he did come with the intention to offer as much help as he could.[break][break]

…Even if he didn’t quite know what to do.[break][break]

”...It’ll be a starting point, at the very least,” he hummed pensively, furrowing his brows while eying the two bears for several moments in a following silence. Before long, however, he quirked his lip and gave another, airier sigh of a hum before glancing towards the woman by him again.[break][break]

”I…suppose I’ll go gather some more bamboo branches for them to snack on while they interact…?”

they had a plan, time to put it into action. [break][break]

with the bamboo gathered after several minutes, and the cushions fluffed and such, and the pandas sitting, mielle was ready to run for it in the case they didn't click. surprisingly enough.. the two looked affectionate already, and after snacking on the bamboo (or rather, scarfing it down), it seemed like they had the energy to be more.. loving to one another. [break][break]

.. so the pandas were just.. hungry. mielle's at a bit of a loss of words, but that just makes the job easier, no? with their job done, she gently tugs at dante with her, leaving the daycare with a happy hum.
