it's not something he'd usually partake in but obligations to rocket have forced him here. so, to make it a bit better, he invites jessie along, realizing it might be a good opportunity for them to start training together.[break][break]

unfortunately, rocket would be up in his ass for abandoning this mission. the fact sours him.[break][break]

"we'll get this done in no time, i'm sure."

She sighed, briefly leaning her head against his arm. Snuggling up in bed would definitely have been the better move, she imagined. But, they approached the area swiftly enough.

”I’ll hold you to it that we finish this quickly.”

With a smirk on her lips, Jessie fished for a poke ball and threw the resting creature out. Her DITTO, a purple blob sitting there and looking around aimlessly.

”I think it’s trying to find something to turn into.”

"oh. right. we're not used to this."[break][break]

he calls out his rhyperior, taking a step back due to its big size and frame.[break][break]

"try this."

Jessie took a step back as well, looking up as the RHYPERIOR stood out in front of them. She looked back at her DITTO, who looked from Niko's to the other Pokemon.

"Alright. Transform!"

The DITTO observed the RHYPERIOR, looking dumbly at it. It started to shift, taking shape of certain parts of the Pokemon before going back to a purple blob.

Jessie sighed.

"Is it stubborn? Or confused?"

NIKO MANNER

"i think all dittos look confused. pink shit's no different! look."[break][break]

he points over to his ditto who shares the same expression as jessie's. it, however, manages to TRANSFORM into the rhyperior with ease.[break][break]

"i think it's just about familiarity. have your ditto try and understand rhyperior a bit more."

Niko's pink DITTO did indeed share the same stupid face as her own. However, it had no problem shifting into his RHYPERIOR.

Jessie huffed.

Looking at Niko with raised brows, she nodded. She gave her Pokemon a bit longer to observe the angled creature before commanding again.

"Okay. TRANSFORM!"

This time, her DITTO managed to transform into the shape of the RHYPERIOR. Some of the details were off, but the form was there. She grabbed excitedly at Niko's bicep.

"Oh! That's better!"

niko shares the same excitement. his hand reaches for hers, cupping at his bicep.[break][break]

"that's it! see? your ditto's a fuckin' natural."[break][break]

he gives it a thumbs up![break][break]

"now... this may sound weird but i promise it works. or at least it worked for pink shit."[break][break]

understanding, niko's ditto TRANSFORMS back, then slides underneath the rhyperior, positioning itself between its heavy legs. it then looks up, gazing in awe.[break][break]

"have your ditto do exactly that."

After the moment of excitement was over, Jessie listened to Niko's instructions. And watched his own DITTO do what he asked.

"What- that's... really fucking weird."

But did she know how to train her DITTO? No. So, she'd take his word.

"Alright... do the same," she ordered hers.

And it joined Pink Shit, looking up.

after a moment of studying rhyperior's anatomy more intimately, niko decides it's time to put his knowledge to the test.[break][break]

"good. now try again."

Jessie rubbed a hand against her face. It made sense, truly, but she couldn't believe that this just happened.

"This is the strangest shit I've ever seen..."

But, she would give it a shot. Calling back her Pokemon, she gave it the order to TRANSFORM again. This time, it was nearly perfect.

"Oh! It worked!"

niko watches on proudly as her ditto starts its near-perfect TRANSFORMATION. he nods with a sense of sophistication that looks off on him, but he feigns the part well enough.[break][break]

"as i knew it would."[break][break]

his ditto rolls, forming waves with its body in a show of approval.[break][break]

"now that it looks the part, try having it use an attack. HAMMER ARM, maybe."

"Did you train Pink Shit to do this with every one of your Pokemon? Or did it do it naturally?" Jessie asked curiously, tilting her chin up at him.

A move. Okay, sure, she was sure that her Pokemon could do that.

"Okay, DITTO. Use HAMMER ARM!"

A fist came swinging down on the ground, hard and heavy. She was about to praise her Pokemon when a noise caught her attention.

"What was that?"

"it did it naturally." he explains, then realizes. "maybe pink shit's just a pervert."[break][break]

it would make sense, actually, considering how he's never actually seen any other ditto do it. he's always just trusted pink shit and its unusual antics.[break][break]

too distracted, niko doesn't hear it.[break][break]

"what noise?"
