Who knew that those strange ‘rift’ things would do things—and rumors about some particular Ice-types suddenly changing forms when brought inside also made him want to test the hypothesis.

…there was no way he was going to be sacrificing his Weavile or his Avalugg to that madness, so…

It was time to look for those two again. This time. For ‘science’, so they said.

The first thing that caught his eye was that of a—

“Huh.”

A sentient ice cream cone came waffling through the area, and he heard someone’s familiar snarking laughter in the back of his head.

“Shut up, I know what you’re thinking of,” he said to nobody in particular as he left the Vanillite to its own devices. It wasn’t what he was looking for, so he would leave that Pokémon alone to wander through the cave.

He wondered how long he would have to search for the two Pokémon he needed…
