word spread around that there was plans of some kind of rocket operation happening around mt.pyre of all places and it soon reached the ears of a certain crime fighter who was looking to stretch his legs after a month of doing nothing but training to keep himself and his pokemon in top form. this would be the perfect chance to see their results, and so the green clad hero of hoenn kept hidden in the mist and among the tall grass as he watched a trio of rocket grunts go about searching for pokemon to add to rocket's army. for them kaz had the perfect little "gift" that should prove to be tantalizing as he gave the small hedgehog that hid with him a stroke on its back with a single gloved finger. "ready? alright...go!"

the shaymin rustled the bushes around them as it raced out of its hiding spot and into the center of the trio of grunts who took immediate notice of the strange and exotic pokemon as it shrunk back in "fear" at being "surrounded" by evil looking men. as one of them shouted for the others to catch it the shaymin's body began to glow as a seed flare blinded the grunts allowing pokkenger to jump from his hiding spot and aim a foot right into the back of one of team rocket's "finest" with a "POKE KICK!" and a "POKE PUNCH!" to the jaw of another as they realized too late that they were set up and now had to face one of hoenn's finest.

"C'mon fellas ya take to shiny new mon's way too easy!" he taunted as he reached into his belt and threw out a ball that released his ever faithful urshifu who took his stance alongside his trainer as the shaymin hid itself in between the two. "but don't worry, we'll make sure you'll be sent behind bars quick and fast if ya just surrender now? otherwise prepare to fight!"

"Sorry to disappoint, but you won't be putting anyone behind bars today... Pokkenger."[break][break]

A dark mechanical voice rose from behind the hero as a bulky shadow emerged and placed a strong hand on one of its shoulders. The moment he placed said hand, a burst of purple flame flashed beside them, heading towards the Shaymin, whilst a darkened Psychic wave was sent towards the Urshifu.[break][break]

Behind the hero of green stood a 6 feet 6 man clad in dark and gold armor. A figure that the hero would surely remember, since they have fought against each other in the past. Beside the armored one stood an abnormal Typhlosion, as well as an Alakazam covered in crystals absorbing the surrounding light.[break][break]

"I believe it's time for round 2. Don't disappoint me, Hero." With a push, he released his grip on the elite four's shoulder and sent him walking towards his pokemons. The goons trio proceeded to take this opportunity to pack up and prepare to exit the scene.

hearing an (almost) unfamiliar voice and feeling a hand on his shoulder sent a shock down the hero's spine as he wasn't aware of anyone else that he had noticed when he found the trio of grunts. looking behind him and the hero froze as he was met with the familiar visage of another masked person that he was familiar with as he remembered how they had beaten him once before. as even the nanoseconds passed his pause became less due to the surprise of someone sneaking up on him and more to the fact that he was left stunned as he was looking at someone that he thought he wouldn't have seen again so soon and like this.

"bald-" his words were cut off by the two attacks that whizzed passed the two masked men and made their way to his pokemon. luckily his urshifu managed to detect the aggressive nature of the attacks and managed to dodge the psychic attack by sidestepping out of its way, yet it knew that the other attack was going to go after its new small companion so as it dodged out of the attack targeted at it it jumped in the way of the purple flames to spare the shaymin of the flaming assault as the flames burned away at its fur causing the fighting bear to fall to one knee as the shaymin rushed to its side to give it some aromatherapy to soothe its wounds as best as it could.

kazimir could only glance back as his pokemon were assaulted and he pulled away from the hand of Dark Sun and saw the two pokemon at his side and while he recognized what kind they were something was very clearly off about them. "hey! its kind of great, wonderful even, that your here but what's the big idea?! ya show up after getting caught and now ya want a challenge while i'm in the middle of busting up a team rocket operation?!"

on one hand he was secretly happy to see him again, so very happy that his pokkenger persona started to slip right off, but the sudden attack and challenge was just...very odd. it wasn't the first time he's done it before but the fact that he was doing it while he was trying to take down team rocket of all times? that didn't sound like balder, "as much as i'd like to have a rematch why don't you help me take in those grunts before they get too far?"

"Sounds like you're confusing me with your lost Sunne Avatar." said the armored figure. Of course, Kazimir was right, but the man could just reveal himself. That would ruin everything he built, both within Rocket and League. He needed to separate the identity of "Balder" and "Dark Sun", to have them viewed as two different individuals.[break][break]

The Shadow Alakazam moved forward, standing beside Dark Sun. Crystal shards floated in front of it before forming a circle. Light beams emerged from each of them, connecting each other and weaving an image. Within the makeshift "mirror", Pokkenger could see a decrepit Balder, beard unshaved and hair longer then usual. Chains shackling his limbs and bars standing in his way.[break][break]

"This is the status of our prisoner, locked deep within Sootopolis. With only a fragment of his powers remaining." The "Balder" within the mirror looked up, as if noticing someone was watching him. While no words or sound could be heard, Pokkenger would be able to read his lips saying "Run Kaz".[break][break]

"As for me... I believe I should give a proper introduction now, since last time didn't allow much time. As stated in the past, I am known as Dark Sun, but my true identity is Experience Result Entity Numeron, code 01675. You may refer to me as Eren, Artificial Avatar of the Sunne, one who stole powers from your friend. But I do prefer the name Dark Sun. Gives a more... ominous vibe."

for a moment kaz wanted to believe that balder was just messing with him in another attempt to try and "help" him be a better man or hero. it wasn't until the strange alakazam pulled up some kind of "video" that showed kaz that the avatar of the sun was indeed chained up somewhere and even gave some kind of warning to the masked hero to run. the mind of the hero raced as he tried to piece together what was going on here and one question was really at the forefront of it all, "then if your not balder...who are you-"

his question was cut off by the masked man giving his name and as impressive as it was it definitely didn't spell good things. "so what rocket's just making avatars now?" the thought alone was scary enough and as kaz imagined what they could do with something like that his stomach started to twist. they were gaining a lot of power and the league was just holding its own well enough but at the rate thing seemed to be going they were going to get outclassed unless they found their own ace in the hole.

so they needed to get stronger, he needed to get stronger, or at the very least he had to make sure that rocket was too crippled to make use of the tools at their disposal. one was probably dealing with this odd dark sun knock-off who seemed to want to take even the name for himself. "sorry but that name's kind of taken already and we can't have someone stealing the spotlight now can we? GRACIOUS SPOTLIGHT!" pokkenger stepped back as the shaymin ran forward with the petals of its flower glowing as it unleashed a seed flare to blind not only this "dark sun eren" but to blind his pokemon as his urshifu came in with a wicked blow aimed for the strange alakazam.

At the mention of rocket simply making, the armored man acted nonchallantly. "Hmmm... Maybe that was meant to remain a secret. Oh well, won't be an issue if I dispose of you now, won't it?" As if to signal their seriousness and intention, the ghost-typed Typhlosion roared whilst the crystals of the Alakazam shone in a deep purple light.[break][break]

At the mention of his name not belonging to him, the man frowned (Even though it wasn't visible). "Oh Mr. Mighty hero is now gatekeeping names? Seems like justice makes you cocky." But then, the attacks started. An easy situation to handle, however. The Typhlosion proceeded to spit a Flamethrower at the Seed Flare, burning it as it tried to advance upon them.[break][break]

As for the Alakazam, the crystalized magician took the hit and was sent flying back... Yet the martial arts user would find a surprised as the move was now Disabled thanks to the use of the attack Disabled. But this was only the beginning. As the two pokemons defended themselves, Dark Sun lunged forward, the armor on its right first retracting itself to reveal a socrcing red first, with the heat warping the view of its surroundings. The man proceeded to try and punch the face of the Urshifu, planning to leave a Burn to it.

it seemed like dark sun not only was stealing balder's powers and name but also the tactics of pokkenger as their attacks were met and while the alakazam got a fist full of the urshifu's power the karate bear got a fist full of this stranger's power. the legendary master fumbled backwards while managing to stand on his own two feet and wiped the area off where it was struck and could feel its fur signed as it wiped at it with the back of its hand. it shot daggers at this "dark sun" and let out a low growl as it rush at the armored "villain" to deliver a drain punch to his solar plexus.

pokkenger wasn't going to just let this new mysterious villain get away either as he joined in the attack with his urshifu side stepping to behind "Dark Sun" and aiming a kick right to his knee's backside to try and drop him and stop him from moving. The lone shaymin however wasn't so enthusiastic about the sudden fighting it found itself in but it wasn't going to let itself go down without leaving a few nicks and scrapes of its own. While its two teammates dealt with the strange trainer it looked towards the strange two pokemon brought along and shook its body violently to release a slew of magical leaves to strike at the strange looking Typhlosion and Alakazam.

Seems like Pokkenger had gone quiet and didn't want to debate on the gatekeeping. What a shame. Surely because he knew he would be losing this battle. Just like how he was about to lose this fight between their teams. The Urshifu rushed forward to try and deliver a Drain Punch to weaken him and hinder his breathing, yet the armored man deflected the hit, leading it to strike his left shoulder.[break][break]

The drain still happened, taking some of the trainer's life energy. But it wasn't a critical hit. What was a critical hit however was the damage that Pokkenger would feel by trying to strike behind his knee. Whilst the armored rocket member felt the hit, his leg barely moved. "I did say I stol Balder's powers didn't I? That means his steel resistance belongs to me. Don't know why you assumed it was a great idea..."[break][break]

On the pokemon side, Typhlosion was now using Flame Wheel to repel the Magical Leaves, protecting the crystalized Alakazam. The Psychic type, his gaze locked upon the fighting legend, proceeded to imitate the movements of the creature through the usage of Dark Role Play, stealing the Urshifu's ability for itself. Everything was now set up to make it suffer...

A tingling sensation shot through Pokkenger's leg as instead of knocking down Dark Sun he felt something more solid and wasn't human flesh and bone. That's when the masked villain reminded him that he had stolen Balder's powers as proof as his Urshifu also found that while its attack did connect the masked villain didn't even flinch at it. "So you think you got an iron bod do you? Then we'll just have to hammer it down till its nothing but dents and holes, right Domon? HAMMERHEAD!" With his words shouted out Pokkenger rolled out of the way as his Urshifu did a short hop to aim an iron head powered headbutt right onto Dark Sun's forehead. Steel body or not taking one of those would be a feat the masked hero didn't see often.

His Shaymin wasn't fairing much better as the Typhlosion managed to burn down its magical assault on it and its partner and the little hedgehog backed away anxiously as it tried to think of a plan of action. That's when Pokkenger rolled to its side and towered over it like a Growlithe protecting its young, "these guys ain't so tough, how about showing them some love eh Grace?" The suggestion wasn't lost on the shaymin as it regained an ounce of confidence and turned towards the two pokemon and with a deep breath gave out a sweet kiss in the form of a big pink heart shot out of its flowers right at the Alakazam to try and confuse it.
