auville City was beginning to lose its appeal. If it wasn't for official business with his organization, there would be no need to stick around this long.

Kenneth managed to find some time to sneak away a bit, not that he really needed permission—he couldn't care less about the powers above him and would move as he pleased. All he was after was more power and a load of money. Given his skills and nature, those are things he would amass as time progressed. His past was not behind him, and whether it would follow him here he didn't know. It was something he chose not to dwell on, as he had yet to make peace with the past. Kenneth's focus was now on the present and he needed to figure out how to make a bigger name for himself. Whether it would be through terroristic actions, or simple domination of all opposition, things would change quickly.

Leaving Mauville City, he moved past the grassy terrain and reached the sandy shores. It was here that he wanted to find something to add to his team. Unsure if such a pokemon would show itself on this day, he still pressed forward, edging closer to the water. He paced back and forth until such a creature showed itself to him.

s he walked on the sand, he noticed something coming towards him at a scarily fast pace from the peripheral of his eye. It didn’t seem to be stopping, so he reacted by backing up very quickly. He barely got out of the way of a charging Manetric—it was obviously pissed, did Kenneth intrude on it’s territory?

Not that it really mattered. Kenneth didn’t care about Pokemon unless they belonged to him. This Manetric was now in his way, and it didn’t seem like it would leave him alone so there was only one thing left to do. “ Scarlett, handle this for me please.” With a gentle throw, a PokeBall rolled onto the ground in front of him and released his favorite Pokemon: a sassy Salazzle.

Scarlett was already trying to work her magic. That fucking thing always wants to ruin any male she comes across he thought to himself. The Salazzle was already seductively looking at the Manetric, and if it wasn’t for his obvious anger, he probably would have fallen for her charm.

Unfortunately for the Manetric, if there was anything Scarlett hated more than men, it was being unwanted. Scarlett was now also determined to ruin this poor Pokemon’s life, and it started with her using Captivate to lower the Pokemon’s special attack and also fog up its train of thought. Despite this, Manetric still charged in head on and attempted to use Bite. Scarlett was too sneaky of a bitch to ever get caught so easily, so she easily jumped out of the way and retaliated with her own attack; she used Sweet Scent to distract the Pokemon even further.

“Okay Scarlett, you need to finish this quickly. Use Flamethrower now.” Kenneth felt the attitude from his Pokemon, but she pulled through because she loved her owner and released a flame that completely engulfed the distracted Manetric. “Chain it with Dragon Breath!” It may have been overkill, but he knew his Pokemon was already pissed at the Manetric and was probably going to do more than it took anyway. The destructive breath smacked against the Manetric and sent it back into the grass where it probably came from, and hopefully to never be seen again.

“Good girl, but how are you ever going to find a boyfriend?” He joked around with his Salazzle before exploring the route some more.
