His last trip here had produced unusual results—but it was one he was very pleased with. Hell, he already had the name picked out for the little Mudkip![break][break]

As always, he was back here again—he wasn’t going to leave the place until he came for the two primary targets he was out here for: either one from the Noibat line, or from the Dratini line—if only because Dragonite was Dragon/Flying.[break][break]

Because honestly what kind of Gym Leader am I if I don’t have the other half-Flying draconids? He thought to himself, checking if he had enough Pokéballs to go around for this trip.[break][break]

He wondered how many more times he had to keep returning here just to be able to find the two he needed… and then he would return to the usual places he frequently haunted because seriously, why were all the draconids hiding from him? He wasn’t such a power abuser he’d mistreat them badly…[break][break]

“Come on… either a Noibat, a Noivern, or a Dragonite…” he muttered to nobody in particular, crossing his fingers before heading back into the ‘dragon’s maw’, so to speak.

By this point he had Carina out and about, ready to scout ahead—a near-invisible flickering that had rested on his nose before he decided to give out orders. He hoped that this time around he’d be able to actually find one of the two draconids he was looking for![break][break]

Please, please, let this be one of them this time! He thought as he then made a soft whistling noise, slowly waking up the slumbering Cutiefly that was resting on his large nose. “Psst, hey. Hey, Carina,” he said softly, before hearing a sleepy little hum in his direction.[break][break]

“Yes, Carina… hello, we’re here and we’re back again. We’re going to be here until we get all the draconids we can find… I hope this time we find one of the two I really need so bad,” he continued, mentally crossing his fingers as he felt the feather-light touch depart from his nose.[break][break]

“You know what to do,” he added as he waited around the bend and the Cutiefly flew around it and disappeared—before suddenly hearing a little shriek that sounded oh-so-familiar.[break][break]

At the same time his PokéGear began to vibrate, alerting him that there was something there—and that it was one of the many he was looking for—silently hoping that it was one of two, he then nervously approached the point where the Cutiefly had disappeared, now currently dropping all manner of Fairy Wind.[break][break]

Attacking the Dratini from seemingly out of nowhere, the little Dragon-type tried to unleash a Twister of damage—but of course, since Cutiefly was part-Fairy it didn’t hit anything—in fact it emboldened the little Cutiefly as she continued to drop more Fairy Winds around the little area.[break][break]

Try as the Dratini might to fight back, it was useless—and Alexei rounded the bend just as the Dragon-type collapsed before he calmly pulled out a blank Pokéball and tossed it at its collapsed form, waiting for the little feather-light touch to return to his nose as he watched the draconid disappear in a beam of red light.
