because he's seen glimpses of them already. the way she dances when singing, how her body moves and bends. so those come as no surprise.[break][break]

her smile is quick to return at the utterance of a challenge.

and without hesitation, she's plucking the remainder of her drink from the side table. it's barely ice now but a cherry still sits pretty in what remains of the fruity cocktail she had ordered.

"ready?"

she leaves the for your mind to be blown part out because there's a few other things she can do better than this that would do the trick...

the fruit part of the cherry is quickly eaten and then the stem disappears into her mouth. she reveals it a moment later, the end neatly tied in a knot.

"see?"

it's sort of mumbled because she's balancing the cherry stem on her tongue but... that's fine!

it doesn't take long for danny to return with another round. this time, it's a cherry moscow mule, and he specifically ordered it just for the cherry.[break][break]

he takes a sip, then picks up the cherry to plop it into his mouth.[break][break]
