[attr="class","lars"] pokemon tag @tag words 374 notes :eyes: NICE | The trip they took to the Seafloor Cavern wasn’t going to be a waste, after all. The Metagross heard snuffling sounds coming from the next cave room over, and wondered what the hell was in there.
Making some mechanical grating noises, he then looked over to where Lars was currently smoking like a train again, before grunting with what passed as a ‘sigh’ before tucking its four massive legs in and using Magnet Rise to float off to the next cave over.
Hell, Lars hadn’t even noticed that Ro had vanished, at least until he looked up and didn’t hear the grating noise. Where could he have gone? Eh, didn’t matter, he was pretty sure the Metagross would return to him eventually. To be on the safe side, he sent out Alpha, watching as the Lucario hit the sandy floor of the cave as he emerged from the beam of red light.
“Alph, let me know when Ro returns,” he said quietly before returning his attention to his pipe, filling it again with some leaves.
Over where the Metagross had gone off to, he was currently locked in battle with a sea-beasty that was rearing up at him from the water. Unamused, the Gyarados attempted to blast the Metagross with a Waterfall attack, but a well-timed Telekinesis forced the water to seemingly hit a ‘wall’ before being shunted off to one side. Closing the distance with an Agility before the Gyarados could react, Ro then forced it out of the water with another Telekinetic application of force, before subduing it with two successive Meteor Mash attacks.
A loud roar shook the cave, and the Lucario looked up, quickly tapping Lars on the knee and pointing in the direction of an incoming…
“Holy shit?” was all he could say, pipe almost falling out of his mouth as the Metagross made a triumphant return, using its Telekinesis to levitate what he recognized as a Gyarados before roughly dropping it on the sandy floor near where he stood.
“Really?” followed next, before he pulled out a blank Pokéball and dropped it atop the Gyarados’ fallen form.
…see this was why he never let Ro go ‘full force’, because these kinds of things happen when he’s not around!
