Mord saw the Stunky before Onyx did; he was gone in the blink of an eye, rushing down the alleyway after the smudge of darkness that belied a fleeing Pokemon. Onyx sighed and rolled his eyes, stuffing his hands in his pocket before following.

Mord cornered the Stunky in front of a brick wall, and it was only then that Onyx realized what it was-- but it was too late. Mord snapped his large jaws around the thing just as it let loose its famous spray with enough force that it ricocheted off a building and splashed back onto Mordekaiser’s legs.

Onyx coughed, the stench hitting him in the face like a physical slap; he covered his nose with his jacket and turned to retreat, just as Mordekaiser flicked his head and released the Stunky, sending it flying. It soared over Onyx, trailing droplets of spray, and landed in the dirt with a solid thump. The stunned creature tried to stand and run, but staggered, and Onyx hit it with a Pokeball, thankful to finally put it out of their misery.

“You reek,” he grunted, as Mordekaiser staggered up to stand next to him, pawing helplessly at his eyes to fight off the stench. He pulled the Gible back into its Pokeball, and beat a hasty retreat.
