otherworldly does not strike the precaution of concern. the essence which lingers off the fragment of silver, engraved thoroughly into the earth, is but an immense formation of energy. brilliant light that keeps them from staring. delphi simply lingers.
curious till regarding the sincerity of her friend.
lips part in order to voice an inquiry to the issue, instead it is alexander that extends that notion.
even then the lucario does not bother a response. the appendages continue to reverberate against the translucent currents, crouching towards the ground with one large paw firmly settled.
"azure?" she calls, crown tilting momentarily to the side,
"...i wonder what's wrong." the attention passes in the company which flocks towards the interest. all brought forth like a moth to a flame. in their hovering assumptions, she passes a glance back at the towering segment of metal before looking elsewhere.
"wait? is that a pokemon?" surprised, delphi quickly assembles the situation. barren earth, stripped of its beautiful lush nature, the weighty force and the glaring beam. there didn't seem anything
particularly wrong about the creature.
if it was one.
she thinks with patience in the distant chatter, buzzing close by as persistent as the wave that lingered before them. pokemon were always mysterious creatures. even if so many people had taken the time just to observe them, delphi often found there was always something
more waiting to be discovered. in spite of remaining still-fully at rest.
lucario thought otherwise.
severing the ramble of the councilmen, azure lets out a loud and
warning growl. she turns to delphi immediately as if inclined to grab the girl, but quickly recalls the
fear and simply hopes they will move.
"move back!" she warns, understanding the urgency of her companion. unfortunately they are far to late. the mass of lively strands from the earth protrude outwards, encasing them within some sort of makeshift dome.
"not good, not good." delphi repeats, her smile strained with slight dread.
they'd been standing in the
wrong part. their interest solely in the sake of the rest or simply to indulge on what was
new— leaving them subject to serious harm. at least, now within the midst of it all, that was what she had gandered upon.
"oh! priam!" the greeting has her momentarily distracted,
"you came just in time!" she returns the grin with her own signature smile.
"this is just a theory but..." looking towards azure who stands protectively to the front of the girl, she continues,
"i don't think...whatever that thing is...i don't think it is controlling these vines." one hand reaches for the capsule, readying the release of additional aid.
"you said before, it looked far to heavy to move! plus the nature all around it has withered away! unconsciously perhaps... it could be gathering energy? of course i don't think that it would do us any good to get the life sucked out of us!" laughter trails behind those possibly horrifying words.
"alright azure, kast, lets get out of this!" lastly the beast makes its appearance.
aura sphere starts in the shade of blue, the powerful ranged attack forcing the descent of the intimidating buds away from the group. kast lets out a
noble roar as the glow of
dragon claw enraptures his large and intimating limbs. he begins tearing at the vines, hoping to create some sort of fissure for the group.
