Even without taking the time to give herself her reading that day, Olivia knew very well that today was going to be an unlucky one. It was almost comedic if it wasn't so sad. She went from crossing paths with not only one but three different black cats, then at dinner her butterfingers showed full force as she tipped the salt shaker over AND she could have sworn she saw a flock of birds flying towards her right. Perhaps the best of all, the icing on the cake, is when she was double checking if she had enough money to make it back home and managed to step on her shoelaces.

She did her best efforts to keep herself up, swinging her arms in the air to catch some air but ultimately it was all for note as her face made contact with the floor. She was stunned from it all, all she felt was pain first and then the loud panic shrieks of her Yksi running circles around her. She didn't even care if it looked weird to anyone else at this point, she just wanted to lay there for a moment, at least until the pain subsided and she choked back her tears.

A minute or two at most is all it took for her to slowly pull herself into a slumped sit. Sombrely pulling her hat back onto her head, it was no surprise when she felt something warm roll down her lip, and rather than letting it get to her even more she just laughed looking over at Yksi, "Can you grab a Kleenex from my bag.."

He didn't move right away at her request, his hands quivering and shaking on how to approach and touch her face, she just tried to laugh it off and tried to first wipe some of the blood off with her hands and sleeves. Then did it dawn on her that her hands were empty, more specifically her wallet wasn't anywhere to be seen. A new form of panic set in as she quickly scoured and searched the area, but she couldn't find it anymore to her dismay. At this point, she could only assume it fell into some grates or, worse, someone took it.

Never did she feel like the sight of a Kleenex waving freely in front of her would perfectly depict how she felt, she just want to surrender and give in today. With no money to get a hotel, buy a ticket home, or get any more food she was only left with one option. Begging people to buy a tarot card reading or maybe get some change! That was the long-winded reason as to why she was on the street, still dirtied up from her fall and with a tissue shoved up her nose looking for customers. Many people she tried talking to brushed her off, ignored her or straight up made comments about how weird it was. A couple of people were generous enough to at least give her some dollars, but it was far too little to make up for food.

It's how she managed to make her way over to the taller stranger with partially dyed hair, a bright beaming smile on her face despite her earlier affairs. It's what she had always done whenever she met someone knew, approaching them quickly and speaking clearly, "Hello! How are you doing?!" No sooner was she accompanied by some shrilled screeches of Yksi beside her as it waved its arms in the air to join in. However her smile would fade slightly when she got a good look at his face, and one of more concern took over, "Is everything alright?"
