Isn’t Serena Malcolm one of the Rocket beasts? That’s pretty intimidating! Ceri vaguely remembers having met her once in the woods, but a lot of time has passed since then, and in that time, a lot could have changed. Hopefully she’s still nice! And, hopefully her shadow pokémon are less aggressive than some of the ones Ceri has met the past few weeks.

After checking the time on her phone, she begins clearing her working area to make sure it is spotless, setting up all the sample-collection tools while at it. It wouldn’t do good to waste a Rocket beast’s time, after all! She could tell one of Ceri’s bosses!

Here’s to hoping this goes well and with no incident! She does have cute Bulbasaur-themed band aids in her lab coat’s pocket just in case, though – for the pokémon bites and all!

Serena had a date. No, not a romantic one so don't start cheering yet. No, this one was straight business. In fact, with the resurgence in the new and improved M.A.G.M.A. Serena had found herself quite busy as of late. She wasn't complaining though. Things were finally starting to feel like normal again.

Or perhaps in her mind, things were finally moving now that a fire had been lit within her, renewing her resolve. She came into the lab looking like she was ready for someone's funeral. In reality, black was just her favorite color. That and the get up was mostly because she had been filming something earlier. But that was no matter.

Her heels clicking against the tile were the only signal Ceri received that she had arrived. Serena was prepared to start with the big ticket items right away. So with a snap of her fingers, Junior appeared from his pokeball. Usually a menace to everyone but Cillian Quinn and Serena, Junior was informed of his role and it's importance today.

Serena sat in an available chair and gestured to Ceri that she could get started with Junior however she saw fit. "He'll listen to you and will be on his best behavior." She said as she flashed him a glare to remind him she would not tolerate anything less than perfection right now. He wouldn't be embarrassing her in front of this cute girl.

"Ah, I also have some additional pokémon that you can take a look at in case you needed them for your research." She said as she took a look at them through her phone. Ones with shadow moves and the like." She offered with a smile. "Anything you need me to do, say the world and I'll try and see it done."

Serena was no good with this science stuff but evens he was intrigued to know what Rocket could make out of all of this. That reminded her of her next objective. It was nice being a Rocket beast and having connections. You got to learn a few nice things. "Also...Ceri." she spoke as she crossed her legs in the seat. "I was wondering if you could help me with a task?" Serena asked as crimson orbs lifted to meet Ceri's own.

"I've heard you're into toxicology, is that correct?" She asked as she folded her hands in her lap. "I'll be frank. Most people know that I'm targeted one of the Elite Four members. I mean, at this point who doesn't have a slight grudge against Katherine?" Serena joked lightly. "But I was wondering if there was any knowledge you had that could possibly give me a leg up when I eventually confront her. Which I hope to do sooner rather than later."

Serena sighed as she rubbed her temple. "Normal means won't work against an avatar. And my stubbornness isn't good enough. It didn't save me last time." She continued, "So if there's anything that you can think of that would give me a fighting chance I'd love to hear it. I value your opinion. You seem quite brilliant." Serena complimented with a smile.
