Habit, or addiction? Now that he was healthy, Oscar was becoming increasingly paranoid about his remaining symptoms. Whenever the black veins would manifest, he would go into a panic as he recalled just how close to death this sickness had brought him. He could not go back to that, there had to be a way to rid himself of this parasite for good! Until then, he had Bryan.

Oscar was thankful that Bryan had shared where to find him, though he was beginning to feel worried about their arrangement. Oscar was ready to do anything for Bryan to repay him for this kindness, but would Bryan actually take him up on that offer? Oscar hoped so, he did not like the idea of using Bryan as some sort of prescription treatment. He wanted to prove how grateful he was, but how could he until he is given the chance?

These thoughts plagued Oscar as he entered the facility, black veins once again engulfing his complexion. As he came upon Bryan alone, looking upon what was left of the Tree of Life. Oscar truly felt bad for Bryan's loss, he knew this tree meant the world to him. Oscar gingerly stepped forward, attempting to greet his troubled cohort. 

"Heeeey Bryan, sorry I let myself in. How are you feeling?"

Oscar scratched his head as Bryan took a moment to recharge. He did not look so good, the effort to revive the tree of life seemed to be taking a massive toll. Oscar scowled as he cautiously drew closer, resting his hands delicately upon his waist. 

"That barely answered my question." He spoke firmly but empathetically, as he did not wish to set Bryan off or upset him. "Forget about me, I want to know how Bryan is doing. You've been trying to revive this thing for ages, when was the last time you've gone outside?"

Oscar worried for his friend; it was understandable why Bryan seemed to be obsessed but it was clearly killing him. Humans, demi-gods or not, were never meant to expend Infinity Energy. If he could not reel himself in, the damn fool was going to waste away.

Oscar tilted his head as Bryan elaborated on his dilemma. His devotion to Xerneas was admirable, though if he continued like this he would probably get himself killed. Then what good would he be? Oscar rubbed his tilted chin.

"Have you asked Xerneas if anything could be done? I feel like if anyone would know what to do it would be them."

Oscar hoped the answer would be something along the lines of 'Yeah duh that's the first thing I did', because that would confirm that Infinity Energy was the answer. If that was what it took, well good news for Bryan then that was Oscar's specialty. Oscar began running his fingers through the air, as if setting something up within his mind. When he was finished he seemed dissatisfied.

"It'll take up more space then I'd like--and it would be fuckin' loud--but I think I can help if you're willing to hear me out."

Oscar smirked at Bryan's urging. "I would not call it a good idea just yet but it's a start at least." Oscar spread out his arms dramatically, his black veins growing more visible as they pushed against his flexing skin. "I'll build an Infinity Generator in here and hook it to the tree! We'll have to clear everything out and find another place to store it, but it could be worthwhile. The generator has a shit-ton of Infinity Energy output so we can just pump it into the tree and see what happens."

It was probably more dangerous than Oscar made it seem, but he would worry about those sort of details later. If ever.

Bryan had a lot of questions, and they were all valid. Oscar of course had answers prepared, though it may seem otherwise as he silently turned in a circle with his hands held outward. 

"Yes we'll need to empty this place out--but I should be able to make the generator fit!" Oscar blinked, remembering that he had answers to provide. "Oh shit right um--well the generators are powered by Mega-stones. More accurately, the generator breaks them open and cycles the Infinity Energy through a power grid. With some slight adjustments we should be able to replace the Mega-Stone with the blue mulch to create a similar effect. Generators are massive though, so yeah we'll need this entire space."

Oscar took out his cellphone and began dialing the number of Martín del Mar. "Leave it to me Bryan, this is a failproof plan! Yeah hello Mars? I need you to do me a HUGE favor..."
