Andrea Vaneau vs Tapu Koko

"Eh?" The youth uttered, tilting his head in bemusement. "There's a few Oranguru and Passimian. No Mankeys, though!"

Did she have a bad experience with one of those or something...? Well, he could relate to that. His own Primeape had been a source of many a headaches over the past 2 years.

Clueless as to just what he was dealing with, the youth prepared to show the woman what she came for- only for a dragon to pop out of her pokeball, jolting him a step or three back.

"WO_UP!" He nearly gasped, clamping his mouth.

As the young woman calmed down her pokemon, the youth swallowed the gasps that had almost gotten out, trying to scrap together whatever was left of his image before Andrea's attention came back to him.

"What... is Koko?" He echoed her next question slowly, lips pursing slightly. "Oh, wow."

W-well, that made sense... it prevented any information leaks, specially in these times...

"Uh. It's-" He began to say, before pausing... and then grinning. "-Best if ya just come and look at it yerself!"

This should be fun! Turning around, the youth's arm raised to gesture the woman to follow, before he wandered beyond the beach and into the jungle, making for the center of the island.

"Come on!"

Andrea Vaneau vs Tapu Koko

"E-Eeeh?" Was all he could say in response to that, looking even more confused than before.

They were able to move beyond that, but he would've been lying if he claimed his head hadn't constantly gone back to those words while on the trip to Koko.

All the questions on the way there were answered with vague, intentionally cryptic crap, which helped him forget about their earlier conversations; a broad grin was stretched across his lips for most of their trip.

Eventually, they broke through the foliage to find themselves into a wide open clearing containing tall grass and several rock formations.

At the center of the clearing, a single, tall totem made of wood was to be found, mostly brown save for its crown; a winged yellow, orange and black dome with a tuff of fur fluttering in the wind.

Doug sauntered towards a rock and casually sat down upon it before looking at Andrea.

"Looks like Koko's already playin'." He said after a moment, shrugging his shoulders. "He's hidin', which means yer seeking!"

The youth sat back and watched the grown ass woman in a dragon onesie call for Koko as she moved around the clearing, chuckling.

She was a little... Well, she was very weird, what with the aforementioned 'costume', but she seemed nice enough. Made sense, seeing how Eva Morales had also recommended her. Her eccentricities could be charming, sort of. At a distance.

The trainer aside, Doug lightly tilted his head as 'Chomper' hovered close to the Totem. Welp, he supposed the game was almost ov-

"DON'T-!" The youth began to shout as the dragon opened up its maw.

And chomped. Oh... he got it now!

And for its efforts, it got a...! Jolt. As its teeth crashed against the hard surface of the totem, it twitched angrily, before suddenly discharging into the dragon's face.

A moment later, the totem suddenly floated up in the air, before popping open without warning, revealing a pokemon underneath.

A furious looking Pokémon, at that.

"Uh-oh." Doug uttered, looking wide-eyed at the Island deity.

"W-what? No, that's not how it-" The youth began to protest the woman's logic, but before he could a literal thunderclap rang through the clearing as Tapu Koko spread out out its arms, the shockwave throwing the humans on their asses as the island deity rose in the air, lightning crackling around it as it readied for a fight.

"Well, it is now!" Snapped the youth as he swung himself over the rock he had been sitting on, using it as cover from what was about to happen as lightning began to rain down all around them, crashing all over as Tapu Koko's Electric Surge covered the entire field. "We should probably move!"

This close to the fight, they were liable to get hit by lightning on accident.

The skies darkened as lightning continued to fall. The temperamental Tapu Koko was too mad to give half a mind for the humans nearby. Far as it was concerned, they were at least half responsible for it getting chomped!

Power surged around the island deity, a sphere of light enveloping it before it launched forth at the dragon with incredible speed, its form becoming little more than a shining blur.

Whether it crashed into the dragon or not, it would continue forth until ramming directly into the soil below, creating massive a massive crater that made the entire island quake, throwing the running humans right onto their asses once again as thunder and lightning continued to clap in the distance.

"Maybe just a little farther away!" Doug said, pulling at the 'hoodie' of Andrea's onesie to get her attention. "The collateral is gonna get us before the lightning does at this rate!"

Doug had seen Tapu Koko a few times-

"Right you are! All of the Tapus are fairy-type pokemon!" So he could serve as the DBZ announcer guy for Andrea's benefit. "And that was Koko's Nature's Madness! It's the Tapus' Signature move!"

Having carried out his duties as NPC, Doug proceeded to duck behind yet another boulder as the clouds above parted abruptly to reveal a barrage of shooting stars- No, wait those were meteors.

"Oh, that's just in poor taste!" Said announcer Doug from behind the rock, "People are worried sick, ya know!"

METENO and all. Unfortunately, Andrea was exactly right about her predictions, the furious Tapu not even bothering to dodge the meteors- instead flying towards them, making a sharp, straight line towards them as its gleaming energy covered it whole once more, crashing into them with a booming shockwave.

For a brief moment, one of the meteors stopped in its tracks as the rest soared by, crashing onto the island below and causing wide-spread devastation, likely throwing the humans below flying.

Doug's screams echoed below.

And then, Koko's furious roar shook the entire island as he tore through, shattering the meteor into several pieces- of which he grabbed one and swung, pivoting in the air several times before letting fly the massive piece of dragon-type meteor rock at Chomper's way.
