Niky kept it up. The energy around the event started to increase, even the older crowd was starting to jam a little bit even at the younger crowd's music. Slow to upbeat, to classical, even the Tango was played. After a rather nervous request for a Polka song, and a wink from the blue-green eyed young man, he was getting more. Funnily enough, he even got a request for one his songs in Bad Habits. And so he played it. Then came Counting Stars. A little bit of shameless plugging over, he moved on with some of Melody Miro's music. His goal was simple, hype people up and get them ready for the new fashions. Looking towards the backstage area, he saw one of his new compatriots peeking out. With a wink, he turned it up with Bethoven's Virus for a classical switch, then 16 Shots for the younger crowd just to keep'im on their toes.

To say that he was enjoying and getting a kick out of the older crowd taking advantage of his classical choices and other people's requests would be an understatement. Not that the younger crowd wasn't doing much the same. He looked over at one of the supervisors of the event, only to get a nod. Well, okay then, he'll keep it going until the show starts...

The light radiating off of Pluto’s smile was just another reason why he was a stellar model. Sy let himself be led with nothing more than a quiet chuckle and a turn of his shoulders to slip through the crowd easier.

“You’re good,” he said, leaning in so his voice could be heard, when Pluto seemed distressed that he’d touched without permission. Sy was cuddly as a teddy bear. Physical contact was sometimes the only way to communicate with him.

Sy was quiet as Pluto talked with his near-twin. He lifted a hand in greeting. “Hey. It’s a good show!”

The energy in the crowd was electric. Niky was actually quite good at this. Not that Sy had imagined he wouldn’t be but… he’d met his fair share of DJs that were more hypebeast than genuinely hype.

He sort of loomed over Pluto as they peered around the corner. “Yeah, he’s pretty good at this!”

Jupiter waved his brother and friend off, returning back to getting the show ready.

Pluto waved Sy on some more, as he got closer, right before the stage and out of sight. Giving Nik the thumbs up and jumping up and down to the music during the upbeat songs. Looking back to Sy, he seemed to be just glowing about this.

"this is always my favorite part, all the energy in the room! It's great! Makes me feel like I could do anything!"

Niky just kept doing his thing until the supervisor of the event went up to him, saying the new fashions were about to go live. And after a hand up to say four more songs, Niky obliged. After four more mixes, he spoke into a microphone. "Alrighty everyone, it seemes our sponsor is ready to show off the upcoming new fashions for the fall and winter months, let me turn it down and hand the floor to them!" The man went up to the podium, and started with thanking Niky and everyone there. He kept it short and sweet to try not to lose the energy in the room. And out came the models with the various winter wear. The DJ kept a good tune going, trying to match outfits with a specific musical style.

After showing off the new outfits, it was back to the music and the energy. Hopefully things can wind down a bit though, he actually wanted to get to bed at a decent time.

Pluto was right about the energy in the room-- it was definitely electric. A far cry from many of the shows Sy had seen before, on TV and, however briefly, in person, which tended towards rows of solemn faces in foldup chairs frowning discerningly at the models as they walked.

Niky did his sign-off and handed the mic over to the emcee, who broke into his spiel as the crowd steadily quieted down; before they could calm entirely, though, the show started and the music began to kick a solid bass again, rattling the floor.

Despite all the electricity, Sy had to suppress a yawn. It was way past his bedtime.

“What time is it?” he asked Pluto, semi-sleepily, having gone a little dreamy in focusing on the models.

"Oh it's-"

Before he could even finish. "Also lets show off a few of our guests of honor tonight, starting with Pluto!" With a blank face, he wasn't ready for that and he was soon ushered onto the stage past Niky. Looking at him for some cue of help, like he could. With a mic shoved in his hands, he stood there, dumbfounded.

"Well let's not focus on me, how about these two behind me?" He motioned for Sy to come forward and towards the DJ. "They're the real things keeping this going, besides my brother of course, so give them a hand! Can't do this without 'em!"

Once Sy was near him, he told him the time. "Like, 10?"

Niky had to suppress a laugh when Pluto was given the mic. After a round of applause for everyone, things went on for about another hour. Then people started to filter out of the place slowly, with the main event being done and all. There was still some socializing and so on, but otherwise, it got pretty tame. Once it seemed like things were pretty much done, Niky gave a last call for requests, and would then call it quits. There were a few, but not many. And once that round was done, he told all of his Pokemon to start wrapping it up. Lee, Slick, Optimus, and Gojira went to work unplugging cords and wires and putting up equipment. Niky started to do so as well, giving some instruction.

The head guy did come by to express his thanks, and that he would get him paid as soon as he was shown the invoice. Niky simply smiled and nodded, promising to have the invoice ready by the end of the week, showing the math and including the initial deposit. Still, he was given a crisp 100 PD bill as a tip and thanks. While he was busy, he didn't see much of this earlier two compatriots, but he'll likely see them again. If nothing else, but to do another one of these types of events.
