they pause when they walk, especially when the little machop sees something of interest. [break][break]

in this case, it's a machamp, hanging about and doing its own business. though it's brief, the machop stares in awe, although she has to admit, she does wonder how the anatomy for a female machamp will work - specifically because they all copy the male body for it, anyways. what's the point of having a female gender for this line if the majority of its body is going to represent a man's? she doesn't understand. [break][break]

"come on." she nudges at the fighting pokemon, who whines a little bit, but ultimately carries on.

would you look at that, a bunch of gears when she passes by. [break][break]

the machop, curious as ever, stares in awe and fascination, until the trainer nudges once again with the side of her shoe to catch the pokemon's attention. "it's rude to stare, you know." she says, with a slightly flat tone, but her pokemon know that, when they look up, they can see a slightly amused smile on her lips as she continues to walk down the road. [break][break]

the hand of the machop is small, as she tries to keep up with the trainer. it's kind of cute, watching the tail sway behind her in what she can only assume is happiness.

all she did was look away for one moment. [break][break]

and when she looks back, a mienfoo is found sparring with.. another mienfoo. she'd think it was cute, until she realized that it was her own mienfoo that was picking a fight. the little yellow pokemon aggressively taps their feet into the ground, arms up, ready to begin charging to hit the wild pokemon... [break][break]

before verity runs over to scoop the little canine-ish pokemon up into her arms. [break][break]

it struggles a bit in her arms, but she doesn't let up. "hey!" she huffs, shutting one eye in fear of the little pokemon poking it out "stop trying to pick a fight! we're heading home!" she gives it a quick scolding before she starts to run off. at least, before the wild pokemon could bring back its mother...
