An ice guy after all? [M]

It had taken a lot of mental preparation and steeling herself, but Andrea managed to reach the heart of the Silent Icelands without chickening out this time. Much as it pained her to be there, she needed to pay tribute to her very dear friend. The icy field was riddled with the eerie displays of Pokémon that had been forever frozen in never-melt ice. Kyurem's Glaciate wasn't like normal ice; it had even affected Fire types like Houndoom and Salazzle, and even LAPRAS, which were normally found in colder climates.
Andrea's first thought had been to bring a bouquet of flowers, but no plant could ever survive in this frigid graveyard. Instead, she decided to pay tribute with a bottle of traditional Hoennian sake, pouring one cup for herself and one cup for the frozen Mega Salamence that lay in front of her. "They say that sake warms the soul, so... Cheers, Meatloaf." The dragon-hooded girl mustered a somber smile, raising her cup in the air. "I'm sorry I did this to you..." She added with a quiet sob, before taking a sip.
One sip was all it took for Andrea to feel as if her throat had caught on fire. This was her first time trying alcohol, after all. "Eeeek! Hot, hot ,hot!" She cried, waving her mitten-wearing hand in front of her open mouth. Chomper, her Hydreigon, leaned over her half-empty cup and drank the rest of it, not wanting to let good sake go to waste. Unlike his wimpy trainer, a bit of alcohol wasn't enough to faze him.
Staring wistfully at the second cup, Andrea left it and the sake bottle by the frozen dragon's feet. "The rest is all yours..." She muttered, hugging her knees and clutching the lapels of her fuzzy winter coat. She stayed silent for several minutes, until a worried Chomper gently nudged her side. "We'll leave soon. I just wanna stay a few more minutes with Meatloaf. I know he can hear us somehow..." The girl solemnly mused.
