Curiosity is one of the great secrets of happiness

Naomi - or "Nomi", as she is often called - is a keen, thoughtful, highly intelligent young woman with a somewhat guarded heart. Quiet, observant, and introverted, she favors long nights in the lab over parties and social gatherings. Nomi is extremely driven and ambitious, but most of all, she is curious. She wants to discover things nobody else has, and she wants to change Hoenn forever, believing the region could benefit from becoming far more advanced and innovative than it already is. Nomi has lived most of her life with very few immediate family members and is the sort of person who is slow to trust others. When she does decide that she trusts someone, she holds them very close to her heart, and will expect the same degree of loyalty in return.

WHAT CAN BE LOOKED UP

• Nomi was born and raised in Ecruteak City, Johto
• Nomi's parents, renowned scientists Yuri and Karin Sato, disappeared when she was 2 years old. They were presumed dead while on a special assignment in Kanto
• Nomi was raised by her paternal grandmother, Ayame Sato
• Nomi studied for one year at Ecruteak College (2019-2020).
• Nomi's grandmother passed away in early 2020 at the age of 93
• In the Autumn of 2020, Nomi moved to Hoenn. She enrolled in an undergraduate program at Slateport University, transferring her existing credits from Ecruteak College
• Nomi completed her undergraduate studies in the Spring of 2022 with degrees in Chemistry and Pokémon Biology

• Nomi is the former owner of Moonblast Microbrew; she sold it to Laurence Anderson in July of 2023 so she could focus full time on her PhD.

• Ceri Glynn, a friend Nomi met through Slateport University, recruited Nomi to Rocket after Nomi revealed to Ceri what happened to her parents; Ceri suggested that Kanto Rocket could have been involved in their disappearance, reinvigorating Nomi's lifelong quest for answers
• The following Rockets were aware of Nomi's hunt for information on what happened to her parents: Cillian Quinn, Zev Harcourt, Lulu Flint, Raphael Pryde, Ceri Glynn, Isaac Merlo, and Xiura Balfaltin
• Nomi is the Director of Research and Experimentation for the MAGMA Division
• In the Autumn of 2022, Nomi took part in Rocket's space expedition to reach the surface of 99943 METENO. During the events of the mission, she saved Lulu Flint's life, fought against the Meteno-Deoxys, recovered a Fire Type TERA SHARD, and assisted with the capture and subsequent interrogation of DRK Triad member Dr. Holo
• Nomi is one of the Rocket scientists credited with the creation of TERA ORBS
• Nomi is currently running ongoing experiments for the SPECTRA initiative focused on the augmentation of human physiology via TERA energy. She hopes to create synthetic avatars, i.e. granting humans the powers of Pokémon without the aid of a legendary boon.
• Nomi was part of the team that developed TERA ORBS for Team Rocket
• Nomi primarily worked under Lulu Flint in her labs until she was promoted to a HEAD SCIENTIST position in early 2023 upon Raphael Pryde's abrupt decision to return to Kanto; Nomi still thinks of Lulu as her mentor (and the older sister she never had growing up), despite Lulu recommending her for the promotion that would put them on equal footing. Lulu's temporary disappearance in Spring of 2023 was a source of much grief for Nomi.
• In February of 2023, Rocket underboss Martin del Mar (known as The Architect) - former Unown avatar - left Hoenn unexpectedly and moved back to Sinnoh. In the wake of his sudden departure, all of the Unown allied with Rocket were left behind and scattered. Nomi took it upon herself to gather them and study them, in hopes of figuring out whether or not they had been compromised by the DRK Triad. Over time, Nomi came to care deeply for the Unown, thinking of them as part of her "chosen family" within Rocket.
• In April of 2023, Nomi took part in the POSTDORMITUM faction conflict located in the Ultra Deep Sea. She assisted Rocket in recovering a SEAL STONE (supposedly an artifact that could locate Arceus), as well as procured two PARADOX Pokémon (Iron Jugulis and Scream Tail).
• In late April 2023, Nomi, Cillian Quinn, and Zev Harcourt were successfully able to confirm that there is a sleeping Deoxys inside of the Rocket-recovered Meteno Deoxys core.
• In May of 2023, Nomi took part in the GOODBYE GALAR: RUSTED SWORD raid, in which she joined a faction conflict at the Ancient Tomb only to sucked into an alternate version of Galar. She then lived out twenty years in a "memory of Circhester", married the love of her life (parker jones), infused INFINITY ENERGY into black crystals forged into weapons (which imbued them with various Pokémon abilities and powers), studied the stars with FERNANDO SILPH, and helped create DYNAMAX bands. Upon waking up at the Ancient Tomb once the "dream" had completed, Nomi barely remembered her time in Galar: but she did realize she had recovered a field journal full of research she didn't remember conducting. Back in Hoenn, she is on the hunt for answers about what, exactly, happened and what the research notes actually mean.
• In the Summer of 2023, Nomi took part in the construction of the RKS MACHINE[ using the SEAL STONE. She then began running simulation after simulation with her Rocket peers to try and find Arceus.
• Dr. Nisa Holo, known member of the DRK Triad, infiltrated the RKS Machine on 28 August 2023 during a routine simulation via Unown teleportation (and likely other means not yet understood). She attacked Nomi and Isaac Merlo (who had not yet defected from Rocket), with the intention of killing both of them - afraid Nomi would become The Architect, the next Unown Avatar and Isaac would become something called The Purifier. They managed to escape by convincing the Unown (Holo's Unown-K, Nomi's Unown, and all of the Rocket Unown) to aid them by re-writing reality. They were whisked away to the UNOWN DIMENSION, through which Holo was not able to pursue them; there, Nomi received a vision from the Unown. They showed her the beginning of all creation, the moment when Arceus manifested the universe and everything in it. Afterwards, the Unown communicated directly with Nomi, calling her THE VISIONARY and naming her worthy of being their Avatar (a NEW Avatar, different from the "expected" Architect). This altercation is documented in this report.

AVATAR POWERS

The details of Nomi's avatarship (her powers as she currently understands them) have been communicated to declan walsh, all Rocket leadership (canons), parker jones, and Lulu Flint. The events leading up to and including the gifting of Nomi's avatarship are also known to Isaac Merlo, though he does not have knowledge of all of her powers.

PRIVATE KNOWLEDGE

PERSONAL SECRETS

• During the events of POSTDORMITUM, Nomi and Cillian Quinn witnessed (via dream mist) the murder of Nomi's parents by their own test subjects in Kanto. Nomi finally learned what happened to them and why. Cillian and jayden cross are currently the only people who know about this.
• Nomi knows that Lulu Flint is actually Saoirse Quinn, Cillian Quinn's biological younger sister. Cillian confirmed this for her in private after he revealed his own true identity (as Cillian Quinn) to all of Rocket.
• Nomi had an unrequited crush on Isaac Merlo up until she started to develop feelings for parker jones, who she is now falling in love with. Nomi's feelings for Isaac are still both affectionate and complicated, especially now that he has defected from Rocket.
• Nomi has an especially close bond with the Unown-K, Kallistatus, that she acquired during her altercation with Dr. Nisa Holo in the RKS Machine, having won it over to her side by promising it could become a part of her chosen family (where it would be loved and cared for). After she exited the RKS Machine, it turned shiny for reasons she does not fully understand
