He’s too busy for phone games and so most of this Rondez-voo of Love or whatever goes completely under his radar. But there’s one persistent notification that keeps popping up even when he repeatedly clears it. Eventually, he gives into peer pressure, and almost screams when Alex’s face appears on his screen.

He’s on the couch and he curls his legs up beneath him, chewing thoughtfully on his thumb. Alex is off doing Gym Leader things.

They really got you pegged, he said, sending a screenshot text to his boyfriend for him to see when he’s got a free moment.
