He responds to Priam's anxiety a bit, it conflicted with Theo's orders to keep going. it WAS pretty far...and only Priam had a sygnasuit to protect him against the foreign dimension's influences. [break][break]

He leaps into the air with his own strength propelling him forward in combination of the lowered gravity. He was surprised it didn't react to Theo's capture attempts as these beasts were known to be one of the more dangerous ultra beasts, Priam manages to steal one of the eggs earlier from a clutch. Maybe if they kept coming back Bryan would get the chance to procure one of his own? He could probably get the rocket scientists to experiment further with shadow pokemon. [break][break]

they needed to prepare to get to it. maybe sygna suits are the way, but as far as he knows, anything further from where they are just gets increasingly dangerous, with or without the suits.

part of him wanted to go further. it's the adventure that calls to him and not the other way around.

on the other hand, a big part of him calls for self-preservation regardless of what he tells himself. he wants to go forward, but he can't convince his brain to do so.

he calls it a defeat to himself, which might also translate as a win against himself as well. priam takes the latter as the canon ending of the inner battle he had.

It was disappointing, turning back after traveling so far. But there was no disobeying the direct orders of the underboss. Especially here, in the belly of luring danger, where little to no reward lingered for Felix to consider.

"Copy."

With a short, curt click, he signaled for his quagsire to loop back around, positioning his line of movement back on the path home. Maybe, since he was returning earlier than usual, there would be time to catch another episode of Breaking Bad with illeana reyes . It wasn't his favorite, but he always loved watching her face crumple or brighten to the show's swaying narrative. It made for a secondary form of entertainment.
