Olliver is a man that's come to live a rather difficult life. It should be unsurprising that he has ended up where he has...[break][break]
Unlike those that he had come to know in this region, Olliver was born in the Sinnoh region. It was there that his family had initially resided, up until a few months into his second year of life. As his mother and two siblings reside at home, within the city of Snowpoint, little baby Olliver and his father would be meandering about Mt. Coronet. It might have sounded rather strange but his father had been hoping to show him Lake Acuity. The Pokémon there had been rumored to hold a Pokémon of mythical proportions. One that was known as the guardian of the lake and the Being of Knowledge. It was Olliver's fathers hope to obtain a blessing from this lake guardian for his beloved child. As one would expect, this blessing would never come. And neither would their meeting with the being. In fact, it was all for naught as Olliver and his father had spent day after day visiting the lake.

After having gone back and forth from Lake Acuity so many times, young Olliver had gone on to contract a rather horrid case of pneumonia. Whether it was due to the cold or the constant wandering through the woods, they did not know. All that they had known was that things weren't looking great for the child. Given that his mother had to focus on keeping his siblings healthy and away from him, the majority of his family had been spared for possibly obtaining the sickness. As for his father... Well he would come to contract it soon enough. And as for the repercussion's of contracting this illness..?? Olliver's father would pay with his life. At least Olliver had pulled through.

Several years would go by before Olliver would learn the truth of his father's passing. He had always wondered why it was that his siblings were so mean to him growing up.. They had blamed him for their fathers death and while they had never spoken about it before, upon the dawn of his tenth birthday, the secret would be revealed. Olliver.. didn't take the news as well as he probably should have. The guilt that had been driven into him by his siblings, on his birthday of all days, had been enough to cause the young man to run off. He would go on to depart from his home, bundled up in the warmest clothing that he could gather and as many bags as he could hold, only to find himself lost on Mt. Coronet. Quite honestly, he might have died on that mountain if it wasn't for a single being that he had come across..

A week had passed since Olliver had run away from home and the ten year old non-trainer had just run out of food. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his home. At the moment, he had come to regret everything. Each day this week had been spent running away from wild Pokémon and trying to find a nearby town or something akin to that. To no one's surprise, Olliver would never come to find that town. Not on his own anyways. No, if there was any real truth behind this scenario, it was more so that an individual from another town had found him. Another region. A beautiful woman that had never revealed her name to him had found the lost Olliver and decided to escort him wherever it was that he had so desired. Still anxious about returning home, and wrought with raw guilt, Olliver had asked her to take him anywhere that wasn't here. And so she had.

With Olliver claiming that he had wished to be anywhere else, this woman would call forth one of her own Pokémon. One that Olliver would later come to know as an Braviary. A Hisuian Braviary. With this exceedingly large bird at her command, the woman would place Olliver atop of it and depart from Mt. Coronet. It would be quite the travel but she would eventually manage to take Olliver from Sinnoh to Hoenn. It wasn't a one way trip, of course, but they would eventually find themselves there. And once there?? Well the pair would arrive at a small farming community known as Littleroot Town. It was here that the mysterious woman would offer Olliver a home. One that would be his and his alone. She had more work to do, out in the world, and had decided that the pair of them had been together long enough. The deal that she would offer him is that she would visit twice a year to check in on him and provide any necessities. This included things such as paying the bills and leaving behind money for him to take care of things himself. Additionally, she would go with him to register as a trainer and even help him obtain his first Pokémon. In exchange, when the time came, he would have to join her in her work. As Olliver was nothing more than a child, he would go on to accept this deal..

Fifteen years has passed since then. Olliver had managed to collect three Pokémon that he could call his own. Each particularly chosen so as to be of use to him in his work. The first was what some would consider his starter Pokémon. A Beldum. This Pokémon has since evolved, managing to reach it's final evolution as a Metagross. The second was a female Indeedee. She would act as Olliver's caretaker and assistant. And finally, there had been his most recent companion: a Slowpoke. With these three Pokémon by his side, Olliver would be tasked to complete his side of the agreement that the mysterious woman had prompted him with so long ago. He was to join the organization known as Team Rocket as a Grunt and prove his worth as a researcher. And that... Is where our story begins.
