Ryuji could feel his shoulder begin to melt in Finnegan's hand, the man's normally stoic face now showed a fair amount of emotion for the first time in what felt like a while. Still, he absolutely did enjoy the thought of new experiences. Things to get his mind off of things and focus on helping other people for a change. They seemed to have arranged a time in the future they could practice their swordsplay against one another, something that he was looking forward too immensely. But he had been feeling so very weird about this. Was it anticipation? Anxiety? It was hard to say.
"I'll try not to disappoint you then." Ryuji tried to smirk at Finnegan, "It will be nice to shake off the cobwebs. I'm curious about that style of yours as well."
The soft and gentle freeze tussled his hair, as Ryuji's remained messy but styled neatly in a ponytail that reached his midback. The green strands of hair in the wind reminded Ryuji of the countryside reeds blowing in the direction of the wind during the afternoon. The nostalgia did cause him to hesitate to answer Finnegan as he began to walk back the way he came, his eyes shooting towards the Vivillion above them. Thinking quickly, he gets an empty Pokeball and quickly tosses a Pokeball above them hitting its back as the form disappears into the sphere. The redhead gives another smile, nodding his head.
"I think we'll see each other soon enough." Ryuji said as his stoic side was slowly returning, but with a more warm nature. "I'm already excited to see that beautiful style of yours."
