In short order the Accelgor caught up with the two, while Lars was already scrambling over several who were reduced to kicking and punching on the floor—clearly the ‘free for all’ literally went to extremes.

“Go!” he shouted at the Accelgor, who careened forward with a burst of Water Shurikens, causing several more brawlers to scatter the moment the projectiles went flying.

“Move, move!” he continued as he vaulted over the idiots who didn’t get out of the way in time.

They had to close the distance, and fast, because if they didn’t… then this would’ve been all for nothing.

He got a firsthand view of a huge chunk of cement flying through the air as the result of Phage's future sight came to fruition, crashing through the glass viewing box and striking into the middle of the fighting ring organizers.

Fox pointed and Phage flew through the broken glass and zapped the three individuals with psyshock to keep them down until his trainer made it to the box, jumped down, and vaulted in through the smashed window.

By the time Fox had landed where they needed to go, the Blaziken had already caught up and was blocking the door opposite them, arms folded over her chest and glaring at the three human idiots that were looking to make an escape.

Conveniently (or maybe slightly inconveniently) Lars had to parkour his way up the same direction where Fox had gone—there was no way he was going to just spontaneously bust the wings out and fly in through the broken window and scare the bejesus out of everyone…

But maybe it would scare them a little bit to do something just a bit terrifying as he arrived—

Because the moment he’d arrived, he was holding a long, singular sharp icicle that looked like it was hacked into the rough approximation shape of what looked like a switchblade knife.

“You heard him.”

Surely the sight of someone holding a block of sculpted ice, barehanded, without any gloves or protective gear on would potentially scare them shitless.

Just to make things even more interesting, he then reached into his pocket with his other hand and had a packet of hair gel, which he squeezed open, before running his hand through his hair and spiking it up just so—in a way that revealed who he really was; once he was done he also rubbed something away from the right side of his forehead to reveal the scar there.

“And you’re all under arrest as well for participating in illegal Pokémon smuggling.”

Wasn’t that the icing on the cake?

[attr="class","samknoxw"]The ice thing was not nearly as scary as Lars imagined it was. After the chunk of cement that’d crashed into them, the psychic barrage, and the sudden appearance of a green-streaked ninja, a giant icicle was… well, it missed the mark. Luckily, Fox’s smile was hidden underneath his face mask.

Luckily it didn’t take long to arrest the big-wigs because the minute the rank and file had escorted them out Fox gave up the ghost and started laughing so hard he doubled over and almost fell.

“That was-- you-- so-- the stupidest--,” he couldn’t get a single fucking word out. There were legitimate tears rolling down his face.

“What?” was the only word that came out of him, as he looked over at Fox and gave the most pointed eye roll known to humankind as they devolved into a bickering match.

“Why are you laughing?!” he continued in Fox’s direction as he turned to growl at the other chumps that were already cowering as they realized that one of the two that busted them was one of the Head Rangers…

“And what’re you all snickering at? Didn’t we say to keep quiet? Unless you want me to give all of you the fifth!” he added before turning to noogie the other man.

Mamma mia, this is what I get for running around and being his parole officer! he thought as a dour look flashed across his face for a few moments before he pulled out his phone and punched in the number for Slateport PD to come pick up the people they’d just arrested.
