"Man... This is really lame..."
Liliana wasn't particularly sure how'd she gotten here. One moment, she was wandering along the beaches of Dewford, trying to figure out what to do with her life. The next, she was somewhere else entirely, a strange and eldritch place that was so far away from anything she'd ever known. The sand beneath her feet had become stone, and the sounds of the ocean were replaced with a distant warble. The whole experience could only rightly be described as "odd". It was as though she had blinked, and in that split second of non-observance, she had stepped out of her own world, and into another.
Had she known the truth of the matter, of the interdimensional conflict she had just stumbled into, she might have made some tortured comparison to whatever garbage piece of low-rent Science Fiction was currently rotting her brain. But she didn't, and so, she was simply left to ponder her unfamiliar surroundings, gripped by awe, confusion, fear, and most of all, annoyance. She hadn't wanted to come here, yet come here she had, and while it seemed she could enter without even trying, exiting looked like a much harder feat.
The thought that she might never escaped intruded upon her mind. The idea that she would be stuck here, alone, forever, lingered in her mind. But for better or for worse, she wouldn't be alone for long, though the person who found her could scarcely be called a good Samaritan.
"Whuh...?"
A perplexed noise was all she could manage to offer in response. Quit while she was ahead? What was that supposed to mean? How the heck did this dork expect her to quit when she didn't even know where she entered, let alone where the exit was? This masked man and his overestimation of her knowledge were yet more layers to the oddity of the situation, but she didn't even have the time to truly process them. No, before she could even begin to try and piece this puzzle together, she found herself staring down the glowing maw of a dragon.
"WHUH?!"
Had she been acting entirely on her own, it was likely she would have died there and then, blown to smithereens by the resulting shockwave. Fortunately, she was not truly alone. As she was still grappling with the threat of death looming in front of her, one of the Pokeballs hanging by her waist would open on its own, and from it, a curious creature of red and blue would emerge.
Facing down the attack of Haxorus, Porygon-Z would float in front of its master, observing the Dragon Rage impassively for a moment, before its entire body shifted and changed, and a Hyper Beam burst forth to counter the attack.
