wandering around the interdream zone with someone from the same party that discovered the seal stone, priam goes with the one of the three people he cannot gush about how his legendary mark works since he'd already seen it in action.

so far, the only thing they have seen are sea of dream mist. priam doesn't really have strong enough memories with felix to invoke a reaction with the interdream zone, so if it's going to manufacture some false imagery, it was going to have to come form felix's head.

then again, he heard he doesn't have much in life either.

"hey," priam calls, breaking the ice for the third of fourth time now, "do you wanna have a disclaimer in case we get one of your dreams here?"

there really was nothing much to do besides follow the direction where his marks glow brighter.

Again and again, the younger rocket tried to chip away at Felix's frosty exterior, and again and again Felix denied it, shutting each attempt down with the sudden thud of a closing steel door. A gallade was kept out and roaming, creating a parameter of safety, all while the admin's gaze overtook their surroundings.

A thought came, and with it, a slight deviation from the value of comfort.

"If we do, keep it to yourself."

That'll do as a disclaimer.

"Do you have one?"

"eh, just kanto stuff," he dismissively answers. "it's so boring when everyone else and their family has them! it's like they're not special if everyone experienced them."

war, death, poverty. it's the common things that everyone who has been part of rocket since it's kanto inception was aware of. every dangerous dream he'd probably have would be connected to it.

"hey, as long as it's not like one of those things they showed on those otome games, then we're good!" nisa holo's route was popular and caused a lot of talk. "something like paradox mons. do you know stuff about them?"

people have talked about it like they've seen it around. priam hasn't seen them as of yet.

before them comes one of those robotic-esque pokemon. it appears like a mix between a gallade and a gardevoir.

"speak of the devil." he stops walking, hand ready to release a pokemon. "looks like it's one of them."

he doesn't move, wondering if the weird pokemon wouldn't as well as long as he doesn't make any sudden movements. if it's dangerous, then they would be forced to run away.

"do you think we can beat it up?"

priam finally takes his sigilyph out, who sets up both reflect and light screen against the unknown pokemon. it rushes forward, taking down the pokemon quick with a spirit break.

he swallows after seeing the development, replacing it with a heatran on the field.

It'd be his first time standing against one. Somehow, it offered no reason for fear. But maybe that was extension of all the other shit that felt more dangerous in comparison.

Aiding the grunt's methods of attack, Felix sent out his Charizard. The dragon immediately sought to release a blaze of INFERNO onto it.

Steel already looked to melt.

his heatran follows up with a magma storm, stopping the iron valiant from its tracks completely. as quickly as it appears, it falls.

"alright, i think we're good."

as soon as priam speaks those words, a stray moonblast comes at them, blocked by the screens priam's knocked out pokemon has set up earlier. from the horizon, he spots a few more.

"wait, there's a lot of them..."

he's not sure if they can handle the entire group of them.

It would be a shame to turn back now, but given the current situation, it was better to do that than allow these abominations to have their way. Reaching into this pocket, Felix retrieved his dragapult's poke ball.

He clicked it to life.

"Cause a distraction or set a decoy," he glanced back at the grunt, "we'll phantom force out of here."
