Turned on my friends and brought them pain. I have no right to show I can change. But I gotta try!

[attr="class","skullbody"]While the Hoenn public hadn't been kept in the loop, it was hard for any Rocket to miss the memo. If anything, it was the part that many Rockets were most excited about. The Seal Stone was abstract business about gods and legends that the eggheads needed to sort out. Elinor's seizure was a direct blow dealt to the heart of Hoenn's government. It was easy to see why it was such a hot topic around the sub.[break][break] It was also a topic that left Isaac wracked with guilt. Their clash had worn down Elinor's resources but emboldened her spirit, a combo that spelled disaster in all but the best of times. Had she rested at Isaac's camp as she intended, or left through the rift as he'd warned, would she have even been in this mess? Had he remained hidden instead of picking a fight with her, would she have been able to fight her way out?[break][break] Had his presence in the Ultra Deep Sea even made a difference? Or had it only caused more harm?[break][break] The second Isaac was able, he knew where he had to go. He wouldn't be able to make some grand, dramatic difference. He wouldn't be able to find some magical golden ending that would make everyone happy. He wasn't even sure how much he'd be able to say, because there were eyes and ears everywhere. But he knew if he didn't at least visit, he'd never forgive himself.[break][break] He arrived just in time to see the councilwoman raining blow after blow on a nearby wall. Each punch earned another grunt of pain, slightly louder than the last. Each pause stretched longer than the last. By the last punch, the councilwoman had stopped, only letting out a heartwrenching whimper of pain.[break][break] Isaac couldn't even be mad. In her shoes, he'd be doing the same.[break][break] "Councilwoman." As he made his presence known, he tried to force himself to be a gray rock. He had to do his damndest not to let his concern show through his face or his voice. Despite that, perhaps Elinor would spot just a glimpse of worry slipping through his uncovered eye.
