• Julien Arsène Demassieux was born in Snowbelle City, Kalos. He was the second son of the late Duke of Snowbelle and his wife, the Dowager Duchess. Upon his father's death, his older brother, Guillaume, became the Duke.
• The Demassieuxes own a major energy company in Kalos, Gigavolt Energies.
• Julien attended a private boarding school, then later obtained his Bachelor's degree in political science at Lumiose University. Afterward, he obtained his Master's degree in international relations.
• He volunteered and interned at various international political organizations in the early years of his career, eventually becoming a Foreign Service Officer.
• Julien is a former competitive fencer, winning several times at the national level during his university years. Though he no longer competes, he continues to practice.
• He is currently living in a diplomatic residence in Ever Grande City.
