Isaac’s arm was warm around his shoulders and Kepler stumbled with the solid force of it-- pulling slightly, not too much, but his natural desire was to fade away and so he kicked his legs like a newborn Deerling for a moment before he shuffled and folded meekly into Isaac’s side.

This one was hard, Kepler had to admit. The truth was very important, but sometimes it was also awful. In that case, he would’ve voted ideals. But some people’s ideals came at the expense of other people, and--

Ideals were always more Isaac's style. What was the truth, really?[break][break]

Isaac tossed a ball skyward, the scourge of the prehistoric skies appearing overhead. "C'mon, Horus! Time for a bombing run!" Judging by the wicked smile on her face, the Aerodactyl was all too happy to hear that.[break][break]

Coasting on the currents of her Tailwind, Horus soared around the battlefield in long, lazy loops. Whenever her flight path crossed with that of the dueling dragons, she flung rock after rock at the Reshiram's flank. Perhaps after a few strafes like this, she would set up a critical opening for his black-scaled foe.
