honestly? she had no reason to bring this man with her into this simulation. [break][break]

asides from the fact that he had a nice voice. [break][break]

she finds out too quickly that she's pulled in a dumbass to be her partner, but it should be alright, right? it's not like she'll die in here - and she'd know, because she's gone through this once already. [break][break]

the difference is that they're stuck in.. some place different. there's no people, there's no sound of people, but there's some disgusting sound that comes from the darkness in front of them; not that ariadne could see it anyways. [break][break]

"ugh.." she grunts, instinctively trying to pull away from the cries that beckon them closer. "this sounds terrible. are you sure it's a good idea to keep going?"

"Sounds terrible? Shit, it doesn't look that great either. It's dark and I don't think I'm a fan of it."

Poor Topher hadn't even realized his statement fell pointed at Ariadne. He was oblivious but hey, at least he was handsome. Despite how monstrous the sound was, he couldn't help the way his feet tried to carry him forward. Was he curious? Did he want to see what the sound was exactly? Or did the guttural sounds call to him?

"Seems like a shit idea, but we should go see what's going on..."

The draw talking, not Topher. His feet continued to carry him forward as he encroached on the darkness that seemed so eager to devour him whole.

"welcome to my world." tactless, but hey, he did it first (whether intentionally or unintentionally). her lips curl into a slight frown as her feet carries her towards the sound, though the uneasiness never seems to fade with each steps she takes. [break][break]

so her first instinct is to reach out and grab what she thinks is the hem of a man's shirt, in a slightly childish manner, and in fear that she'll lose her partner. it's not like this simulation is real, but the shivers and spiders that crawl up her spine are a very real reaction. [break][break]

"hey, don't leave me behind." she grumbles.
