EXPOSITION

The INTERDREAM MIST is back to being the word on the streets ever since the general populace has experienced the effects themselves, popularized by the buzz of paradox pokemon ownership and the materialization of their imagination.

Exposure was imminent for the residents of Hoenn. Perhaps you have participated at expeditions to ULTRA DEEP SEA, or maybe journeyed to the depths of these new TERASTRAL CAVERNS. Perhaps small traces of mists during your daily commute, undetected by normal means, accumulated overtime instead.

Regardless, it was certain that people exposed to the mist were affected and have lingering effects during their sleep.

At night, dreams are more vivid. They all feel real, with people having more control over them, and each detail of the dream doesn't get forgotten upon waking up. For conspiracy theorists visiting professionals, the exposure seemingly doesn't have any adverse effects.

The common theme for these dreams is that they're always the best case scenario, regardless of any whimsical setting the person's imagination brings them too.

However, the strangest thing is that these dreams are all interconnected. What happens now continues to the next day, as if each dream is a second life that acts as an escape from the real one.

The DREAM WORLD lives up to its name: a paradise amidst the nightmare that is Hoenn's reality.

RULES & GUIDELINES

PRELIMINARY RULES

CURRENTLY, this event will have the following rules:[break][break]

• Start a thread on the DREAM WORLD SUB-BOARD which has been created under the ALTERNATE UNIVERSE board. This will act as a compendium of dreams that your character will experience every night.
• Each post may feature a THEME. These are OPTIONAL, but you can only claim a reward for a theme once.
• You can only post ONCE PER DAY
• All of your characters can participate and receive rewards.

HOW TO PLAY

[attr="class","ynospace"]To participate, you may post on your thread involving their perspective inside of a dream. A SLEEP SCORE will be recorded at a rate of 1 PER WORD COUNT, capping at 200 SLEEP SCORE PER POST.

For themes, feel free to choose from the following list. Please keep in mind that you can only claim 1 PER POST for the rewards.[break][break]

The nature of the thread may not necessarily be peaceful, but it NEEDS TO BE POSITIVE for the character, whether your character perceives it to be or not. It pulls out from their desires, and in turn, reveals more of your character to the readers.

Your characters will be inserted on a different timeline and/or universe under the same identity, and your character can't assume the identity of others. This means declan walsh cannot roleplay as himself as dahlia goode as an example. For the setting, imagination is the limit. You can even use an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE as one.

Entries from the thread need to be sequential, for these dreams don't follow the normal convention. What your character dreamt of previously carries over to the next dream, and in a way, constructs a saga of its own.

You may continue to post past the requirement for rewards, but those will entirely be for the narrative and will not need to follow themes.

REWARDS

SLEEP SCORE

Your characters earn a sleep score for every word in their posts, capping at 200 sleep score per post.[break][break]

With each MILESTONE, a player can claim a reward for their character.

• 200 SLEEP SCORE : 3x tm/tr
• 400 SLEEP SCORE : 1x premium gacha
• 600 SLEEP SCORE : 1x tera shard
• 800 SLEEP SCORE : 1x salac berry
• 999 SLEEP SCORE : 1x shadow move tutor*

SHADOW MOVE TUTOR* allows a Pokemon to learn a shadow move of your choosing excluding the move, Shadow Blast.[break][break]

Shadow moves are effective on most Pokemon, resisted only by other Shadow Pokemon. Upon learning the move, the Pokemon is now considered a SHADOW POKEMON, and now manifests characteristics a Shadow Pokemon may have.

In character, one can say the change in the Pokemon HAPPENS OVERNIGHT, as if the dream mist affected more than just the character's dreams.

SHADOW MOVE TUTOR** cannot be "stored" in the PC and must be used before the event duration ends.

THEME

Each post may feature a theme as a general prompt for their post. These act as a guide for those that may want a deeper meaning for their dreams. For each post that used one of the provided themes, players can claim a reward.[break][break]

Only ONE THEME can be incorporated into ONE POST.
