He realized that he was making some kind of headway when he heard a familiar yipping noise of surprise coming from the Delphox that his Urshifu had struck—however, fact of the matter was that it was still too dark to pick out just who exactly he was fighting!

(The miasma was a definite clue, even though he knew that it was possible that there may be a Zoroark or two disguising the true presence that he was engaged in combat with.)

Just as the ursine Pokémon was about to roar and charge forward recklessly, he realized that it may not have been a good idea to go charging into the darkness…

“Get back here,” he continued quietly as he was still trying to pick out the shape through the darkness that was definitely spreading deep down into his eyeballs and not releasing them from its hold.

“We’ll find whoever this was later once we get some light back down here.”
