“Oh god, they’re even worse idiots than we are!” he continued in a mock-celebratory tone, resisting the urge to chuck some popcorn at the screen because the backpackers were being absolute blockheads as they approached the highly-threatening fog cloud that surrounded an equally-creepy forest!

“Geez, what is it with these people,” he grumbled; and for another split-second he thought he heard something echoing through the swirling fog on the television…

‘Leave…’

His eyes then began looking around warily.

“Did… did you h-hear that?” he whispered, as the word repeated itself once more.

Everything would’ve been alright and fab, however the fact that there was another voice telling them to get the hell out of there was…

‘LEAVE!’ the same voice would all but shriek; and this time there would be the gaseous form of… of something that was definitely a heebie-jeebie coming out from the television screen!

“S-SEE?!” he would yelp; the moment the gaseous form coalesced into… holy shit, it wasn’t a Gastly, not a Haunter—

It was a mcfucking Gengar!

But how was it speaking human?!

‘LEAVE!’ the same voice would continue, and he would yowl like a wet cat before hiding himself behind his manlet of a partner; using the other like a portable shield as he literally pulled his partner on his lap!

Now, Memo loved everything about Alex, from his inability to stop bleeding to his… strange phobia of ghosts.

There was no ‘but’ here. He loved everything about Alex. So he was not surprised when he found himself being manhandled in front of his (much larger) lover. His ass slipped off the couch and then was jerked back on the couch in quick succession.

“H-h-h-h-h-h-how are you not SCARED of these things?!” he would wail; watching as the extremely nonchalant Vaporeon plodded over to where they were and attempted to take a nice big, fat Bite out of the Gengar’s spectral ass.

Unamused; the Ghost-type would then try to Lick the Vaporeon with that… excessively-large tongue it owned, before cackling and floating around; releasing that same miasmic aura that sent the taller of the two all but screaming into Zubat territory at this point as he hid his face in his partner’s shoulder.

“T-t-t-t-t-t-tell me wh-wh-when it’s g-g-g-g-g-gone,” he whimpered as he continued to press his forehead into his partner’s shoulder.

She poorly suppresses a roll of her eyes but jumps and grabs onto the Gengar’s chubby baby leg with another bite, shaking her head viciously side to side.

The moment the Gengar was bitten on the leg; the specter would let out a howl of displeasure while getting shaken by the Vaporeon—much tempted as they were to lash out with a Shadow Ball; instead the Vaporeon would get a loathing stare filled with nothing but Spite.

“G-g-g-g-g-g-geez,” he would wail; all the hairs on the back of his neck standing up while the Gengar tried to free themselves from the Vaporeon’s biting hold.

“Wh-wh-when did that Gen…gar get inside the TV?!”

There was nothing else to it—he was fucking terrified. With the heebie-jeebies in such close proximity? There was nothing else to it.

The shadow ball breaks upon Raya’s head and disappears; she continues to bite, dragging the specter across the living room and leaving a trail of purple ichor in its wake, which dissipates into smoke and vanishes soon after.

With a grunt of force, she hops up on the window ledge and yeets the thing. The spot where leg connects to body parts with a sigh, and soon the disembodied limb also vanishes in a puff of ghostly smoke.

“When does anything ever happen around here,” Memo said, slightly grouchy at having movie night ruined.

“Wow. Remind me never to get on her bad side,” he cackled quietly, before pulling him down gently back on the couch.

“…maybe we need to call the ghostbusters and have the place disinfected,” he tried; a hilarious failure at humor.
